Be careful of the pricing, cheapest price on the tag is NOT what you are paying. The most expensive price on the tag is what you will be paying, not the cheapest price that’s on the tag. I swiped my card for a transaction and the lady insisted it did not go through on her end. I showed her twice that it had gone through on my end and she told me my bank would fix it the next day. Now it is five days later and I’m still trying to reach the store to get my refund of almost $50 for things I did not end up purchasing because I wasn’t going to let her charge me twice. I can only imagine how many times they have told someone it didn’t go through on their end and it actually had, charging people twice. Don’t bother calling them either, they will let their phone ring and ring. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

Update: I called again and the lady argued with me the entire time. This is not a place that wants to reconcile any problems and wants to take people’s hard earned money. ALSO, from the store’s response they are indicating the lowest priced marked should be the price charged, due to markdowns. BUT BE AWARE you are being charged the full price, not the lowest price as indicated!! They apparently put their FUTURE lower prices on the tag also to confuse you into thinking you’re being charged less. Check your receipts and charges! I’ve also provided a picture since the manager still insists she doesn’t see it on her end. You can see from other negative reviews that many people encounter similar...

A family store should be family friendly, but this one is not. Owner comes off judgmental. The only reason I even shop here is because the other consignment/thrift store for kids has sadly closed. The lady who owned that store was so much friendlier and she loved my kids! But with this store, the owner is rude to me every time I go in there. If there were more options in Juneau I would never step foot in this store again. In fact, I probably won’t. I wonder why she even has a store for families if she is irritated by them? She acts like she doesn’t even like kids, or as if they are supposed to stand perfectly still and quiet (maybe from the “kids are to be seen and not heard” generation). I have never had this experience in other family stores and I see she has other negative reviews, so I know it’s not just me. If you’re going to be super strict, rude, with a negative scowl on your face that you make others feel less than after they walk away from your store, then maybe you shouldn’t be running a...

I've been here a few times, and never experienced anything out of the ordinary, but I've read plenty of reviews saying that the prices are misleading. I did notice that there are multiple prices on the tags- I guess I just got lucky when I visited. I would advise that there be only one price on the tag. If you need to constantly change the prices for some reason, make sections of the store devoted to price points instead, and color code the tags to avoid confusion. There has to be a way to streamline the pricing at this store- I am apprehensive to return after reading the lower rated reviews, because they are all talking about feeling duped...
