Asiana Gardens — Restaurant in Juneau

HOMOPHOCIC SATFF. I came back to update my review. Because my little sister asked me if I wanted to go here with her. I told her no I was reminded of the time that we were treated badly by staff who assumed my half sister was my girlfriend. Some of the staff at Asian and gardens are open openly homophobic. The Waitress was rude pushy trying to rush us to take our order while we were just sitting down talking at our table not even for 3 minutes. You can see in her eyes. There was something wrong, She rolled her eyes at us, When we said we weren't ready. She literally came up and asked us 3 × 2 take our order within a 5 minute time. And then her co-worker told her that we were sisters. She literally came to our table to ask us if we were sisters to confirm what her coworker said. And then she started smiling and stopped with the attitude. We have been going there since we were children. I cannot explain how incredibly disappointed I am I’ve been a loyal customer to Asiana Garden‘s for for over 10 years and I will never go again of us because of prejudice And the fact they're not willing to be responsible for their own mistakes. This business wanted to charged me extra money for an order that they got wrong. They got my food wrong. That’s fine it’s happened before mistakes happen and that’s ok. I went home realize my order was wrong and then I went right back to get it corrected. They wanted to charge me more money. This didn’t seem right as I have been in the situation at Asiana Garden’s before and have had my food refired and made the correctly. I didn’t wanna pay additional money for mistake that they had made so I just asked for my money back. They they only gave me $15 instead of what I paid which was $19 and some change.I will never be back again. I feel that they have stolen from me as an exchange of goods was not made, and I did not leave with anything. I literally cried over this because I love you guys so much and you just ruined our relationship. I will never be back and I will tell others not to go either. What poor customer service. Their set meal for two or more is pretty poor choice, especially if your taste in dining is higher than for a frozen dinner. The single overcooked tough shrimp tempura is served with sweet and sour sauce instead of tempura dipping sauce. This place gives Japanese food a poor reputation by their poor quality.

Recommend their bento box meals which are basically all the same except for one entree item. You have a variety of small bits of food, beautifully presented, reasonable cost. If you have a yearning for a good tasty Asian meal, the offerings are few, and here, you get to pay more but the quality is somewhat lacking, not just here but in Juneau, in general overall. Wow very impressed. I live and travel all over Alaska for work. I am always having food delivered to my hotel room which is usually Ho Hum. Asiana Gardens delivered quickly and food was not only hot, but was very good as well. They did good here. From the delivery person to the quality and quantity of the food. Plenty of napkins,forks and other condiments which others forget. You always take a gamble when ordering Sushi for delivery, But Asiana Gardens was as if I was sitting right at the Sushi Bar.
