Stater Bros. Markets — Local services in Jurupa Valley

They sold me old, dried-up, black fried chicken when there was fresh chicken sitting right there. I told them to please make sure that I got fresh chicken, because they had burned me with old chicken before. I gave them another try because I saw them putting out fresh chicken, and I asked for fresh. They LIED IN MY FACE and gave me old black inedible chicken from the day before ANYWAY! I called to complain, the manager Tonya knew that I was getting old chicken but did nothing to stop it. She told me to come in for new chicken and a refund, but I never did because its embarrassing and degrading that they are so disrespectful to me in the first place. I am so disgusted that now I boycott the whole chain, this was the first year in over 20 years that I did not do my Thanksgiving or Christmas shopping at Stater's. They are now losing THOUSANDS of dollars per year from my family because of their ridiculous cheapskate policy of selling OLD GARBAGE CHICKEN. Also their milk goes bad DAYS before the freshness date. I love shopping at Winco, Trader Joe's, and Smart and Final now, AND I make my own fried chicken so SUCK IT...

Very annoying when there is conflicting informing regarding the cost of the difference in the fried chicken special. Sometimes Im charged 0 when i ask for thighs instead of wings. Other times I am charged only .30 more and today now its 1. 40. Today Bobbie said she was the manager and its 1.40 if i want to substitute the thighs for chicken wings. If its always been the 1.40 then shouldnt everyone say that? She said she dont know why the others didnt charge me the correct amount and said they shouldnt have done that. I guess Bobbie should train her department better if shes the manager and take some accountability as the manager. I asked to speak to her manger because I wanted to him or her to know of inconsistency and get the original price I was charged. Instead of her coming back with the general manager she comes back to tell me he said i have to pay the difference. So I guess all the managers need a refresher in customer service training. At that point I was done. I never got loud or angry just annoyed and disappointed. Its not gonna break my wallet but the inconsistency is annoying and...

I have been at this Stater Bros. since 5 years ago and we do some groceries at this location: 7770 Limonite Ave. in Jurupa Valley, CA. and to make this statement short I like strawberries but this store do not remove the old product off the shelves and leave them there till they sold the last package without thinking that this corrode fruit may cause problems health to you.

I bought on three occasions this product and the strawberries from the bottom are bad I buy this product because I have a 3 years old grand don that he likes smoothies and I make this with strawberries but I will not give him his smoothy with this defect product.

I had talked to the two different store Managers but it seems that they do not pay attention or just do not care about the quality of this product.

My opinion is, since the last time I bought this product was on 04/24/2023 I will never buy strawberries form this store any more!

Also if you look for this product be extra careful otherwise you will be tossing all your strawberries in the sink and the product is not cheap!
