Location: The restaurant is located at the end of the strip mall near the corner of CAMINO REAL and LIMONITE (behind the two story bank). There is plenty of parking in front and on the side.
Restaurant The actual restaurant is VERY clean with a modern Mexican artistic feel. Given that we're mid-COVID, there is no eating indoors, but they've set up tables outside. Staff regularly clean the tables and it shows that they care.
Food First time here so we ordered four different plates. In short, all delicious!!! The red salsa is flavourful and spicy. The green salsa isn't spicy, but has great flavor. The sopes & tacos de papa (potato) were fried and delicious. The asada tacos are served in a bed of double tortillas; and much needed because the tacos ARE PACKED! They are not shy with portion sizes. The cheese quesadilla was large with great flavor.
Staff Everyone with whom we interacted were nothing less than completely nice and professional. The fact that this is a family restaurant really shines through - thank...
Read moreI'm a stickler for good food, my friend recommended this place based on a recommendation from his friend and there is a reason why word spreads like this about this place. It's amazing. I love fish tacos and am a fanatic for good food. This place deserves far more attention. Fish tacos were nicely battered, nice helping of slaw on top with good spice to cut through the fish and add flavor. Rubio's fish tacos were always my go to, but I'd have to add cilantro, lime, extra cabbage and sauce on it. Machos does it all for you, and a good like wedge with it. Adobo sauce, I believe it is, is nicely spiced but not crazy. With a little lime and sauce on the taco it's amazing. I got the plate with a shrimp and fish taco, shrimp was good too but fish tacos are my thing. Its worth the price for what you get and isn't expensive for a fish taco. The beans and rice was also really good, just a little sauce to add some heat. Seriously, I'm a stickler for good food and places I eat at. I'm getting fish tacos...
Read moreMy Husband and I were just there today Sunday Feb. 26 2023 for lunch. We have been coming to Machos since they first opened. Today I noticed there was only 1cook and 1 server, the place filled up rapidly and as I sat and enjoyed my shrimp cocktail I couldn't help but see how efficient they were running the entire front and back of the house by themselves. They killed it. Nobody complained everything just ran like a well oiled machine!! My compliments to the young man preparing food and the young lady serving by herself. I worked as a server through my University days a long long time ago and understand when it gets overwhelming, and I noticed nothing but focused people pleasing business people. I appreciate the hard work and great service, I guess that's why I keep...
