Went and got my hair done by Amber Cain. The top of my hair looked great but when I pulled my hair up I noticed there was absolutely no work done to the rest of my hair. Leaving the back and sides of my head completely untouched though I paid for the full foil gloss + an extra bowl of toner.

When I reached out to her with what I noticed she responded with “I feel I did the best to achieve what you wanted” and offered to go back in only if I pay for the products that she uses.

The issue is not having to pay more for her mistake, but it’s the fact she knew I was unhappy with the results and chose to not acknowledge my concerns.

The orange color you see is the color I had before my appointment and was not touched and the sides have no color. I see a huge patch when I flip the first half of my hair up.

I would not recommend a stylist who puts in half the work, does not sympathize your frustrations, rudely responds, does not answer the phone, and has no website with real reviews. I have been going to Amber for almost 2 years now and when I tell you that she is incredible, I mean it. She always listens carefully to what I want and then explains to me what we’re able to do and how we can get me to where I want to be- and THIS is something I value so much about her. She takes care of me and makes sure that I don’t have any unrealistic expectations but rather make sure that I understand that some “hair goals” take more than just one appointment, especially when you’re trying to take care of your hair. She’s also SUPER sweet and conversations always feel so easy with her, which I think is really important to have in a hairstylist. I feel incredibly comfortable as soon as I walk through the door. If you’re looking for the best hairstylist Tehya is your girl. Not only is she extremely talented, she’s the sweetest person!!! I look forward to my appointments because it’s so much fun sitting in her chair, she has always made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! The best feeling is having someone you can trust 1000% with your hair. Tehya did my hair extensions and when they were running behind on being delivered, Tehya went out of her way to rearrange her schedule so I could them for my bridal portraits! She truly goes above and beyond and her work proves that! I was so blessed to have Tehya do my hair for my wedding, she absolutely killed it!
