El Mall De La Comida — Restaurant in Kannapolis

We decided to stop here tonight on a whim since we were in the area. The ladies who cooked our food were super friendly. Unfortunately the food was a no from us! They were out of chicken when we stopped by, so I opted for the chorizo burrito with rice and beans. The burrito was soaked through with grease, so much so it made it unappetizing to eat. The tamales had an unpalatable taste. The toppings for the food were adjacent to the food truck inside a little store. The toppings, I'm sure, had been sitting out all day. The store was unkempt with food all over the floor. None of the food was hot, so I assume it had already been made and was sitting around for a while. We ended up chucking the food in the trash. We were super bummed about wasting $14, but...

Stop here a couple nights ago and to my surprise this place is under new management! I believe everyone should give this place another chance. The food was great and the guy taking the orders was super friendly. I had a chicken torta, some tacos and abujetas. Everything surpassed my expectations. My favorite taco spot BY FAR!! Owners are always super friendly, service is great. And you don't have to wait long for your food. So far I've had the huarache, tacos, & sopes.
