Ball's Sun Fresh Market — Local services in Kansas City

This store is actually pretty good compared to the others. I used to shop at the Sunfresh at Red Bridge and Holmes just because it was close to home and not very busy and crowded. That location is permanently closed now, and I don't know why exactly. That store was kinda run down and dirty and smelly, and I see why they closed it down just like the old one at Blue Ridge and Bannister. But they built that new one to replace it on Bannister, which is actually a nice store, probably because it's only a few years old now. But give it a few years, and it will be a smelly dirty dump too probably. But I digress. I just grocery shop at Target now. I used to shop at Hy-vee, but not anymore. I like Hy-Vee a lot, but if I can just go to target, I don't need sunfresh or hy vee anymore. But I would definitely recommend this Sunfresh location if you're in the Parallel parkway or...

I shop here on a regular basis. This is a great place with a wide variety of fresh produce-now under new management- Sunfresh on Shawnee Drive is better than ever. I would like to see speedier check outs. While friendliness is always present here, there are a few checkout lines I avoid due to sluggish checkout speeds. I understand that not all lanes can be staffed at all times, but I don't think having 4-5 people with full carts and no self checkout options available is a sustainable practice. Been coming to the store for a long time.And I would have given five sours however this evening monday, August 11th went to check out and the cashier had an attitude was unprofessional. Rude would not ask me if I had a sunfresh card bag. My items and just tossed them to the side. And in case we're wondering, his name was David. Either management needs to open their eyes and do something to rectify this situation.Or it will continue to be that way and your day will have a serious problem.It is sad disappointing that this is what this store...
