El Mercado Fresco — Local services in Kansas City

A store that KCK drastically needed. There are tons of great fresh meat options at better prices than most, if not all, of the big box stores. It has been busy the past three times we’ve been there, but even with people clearly in training, the lines have gone smooth and it has been an awesome experience to have something like this in the city. I’m sure some people are worried about a store like this crushing other small Hispanic restaurants. I do think that there is enough business for everyone around...

Store is clean, I used to go to Metropolitan location but they're so rude there so I was hoping for better at this new location but sadly the staff dont seem to like black people either (same issue I had at the other store), nobody offers help, greets you or even acknowledges you. They just stared at me like I was a foreign object. Felt extremely uncomfortable. Even though it's close to home I won't he returning to ANY of these locations and will tell others to...

Great store. The only thing that bothers me is that the Signs in the aisle, the English is hard to read. Im all for the Hispanic culture, its what makes this country great is diversity. However this isn't Mexico. I think its great to bring the culture here. Don't take this the wrong way. But in all fairness... you should make the print the same size. Just my opinion. And as a resident of the area... I wouldnt make my culture...
