We recently celebrated my son's first birthday at Hooray and I cannot sing their praises enough! I have been in the party industry for 10 years and believe me when I say that the value and service you get from throwing your party here is top notch. You get a venue, a play area / activities for kids, decoration AND coordination services.
VENUE / PLAY AREA: The playground was clean and the kids had such a blast. Their small kid area has lots to do and an area for imaginative play. We love that it isn't too big so you don't worry about losing a kid. Their parties have an option to be PRIVATE which is a HUGE deal for us. It was so nice to have an intimate space with just your people and not worry about the chaos of open play or other parties.
DECORATION AND COORDINATION SERVICE: The hosts really know what they are doing. I brought my own dessert stands and didn't even have to use them because theirs were better than what I brought. The decorations were so beautiful. The team worked with me on the logistics to get our taco guy set up and food set up. Anything I was missing, they had it - serve ware, trays, extra table for beverages. They also have a megaphone to help you coordinate transitions and announcements. They provide a cart to help with set up and are seamless in transitioning between gifts to favors. There were SO many balloons which made it feel so festive. They even tied balloons on the favors which was such a special detail for the kids.
Our guests had such a great time with some telling us that this was the best indoor playground party they have been to.
We had an absolute blast and if you're looking for a fun and stress free party, Hooray is the place. We will forever sing your praises! Thank you...
Read moreI used to love to bring my girls here but the last two times I've come have been really poor experiences. Since they started doing drop off services, it's become so chaotic and stressful. Different music is blaring from Cocomelon to party songs at the same time, older kids are running around areas that used to be for the Littles, and some drop off kids had poopy accidents and were running around without any real supervision. I tried to tell an employee but it was hard to gage who worked there and who was another parent like me just doing open play. Some staff had T shirts with the company on them, some didn't. No real uniforms or name tags. I had to stop two older boys from pulling on my baby's hair in what I assumed was the baby area since it was gated but had no idea if I needed to address that with a parent or staff member.
My eldest daughter just stared at cocomelon on the TV which was so frustrating. If I'm paying money for them to play it's because we are trying NOT to just sit and watch YouTube. (With ads, so beer ads or target ads would just pop up every few minutes.) A ton of the drop off kids were just lounging watching TV too, which I would find upsetting if I did a drop off with them. Trying to motivate her to play was hard because of the amount of bodies on the playground. She couldn't go down slides because kids were blocking the way and she's only 3, she gets scared of bigger kids.
I understand how a bad day looks. But this was twice now and the standards of this place seem to have been replaced with the need to pack as many kids into the building...
Read moreWe recently had our son's birthday at Hooray Indoor Playground. The only reason why I do not give it a 5 star is because of three reason, too small, too pricey for the room I received, and I felt the party was rushed. The staff is very friendly and the playground is a great size. I am 5'0 tall and I was able to go inside the playground and play with my kids, and go down the slide. It just made his birthday a lot more fun. The birthday package I received was for 15 kids and 30 adults, as you can imagine that means about 45 people. The room I was given was for about 20 people. I did not like the fact that The tables set up for the party were all close together that the kids could not even go through, the kids ages were from 1-5 year olds. The price I paid for such a small room, that my guest didn’t fit. Lastly, I booked the party from 2pm-4pm. The package I chose provides tablecloths, plates, balloons, and gift bags. I and my sister arrived at 1pm to set up the themed decorations, that I had bought additionally since I would have had to pay a lot more for a themed party. I was able to finish on time. The party started at 2, the pizza was there by 2:40pm, the kids and parents ate, then cake, we broke the piñata, and I had to pick up by 3:30 because if not I would get charged another hour. So in reality the party was from 2pm-3pm. I just felt it was too rushed. The good part was that the kids were able to continue to play even though I had already cleaned up the room for the...
