Today I was very excited to eat gelato here because it had good reviews and it looked nice but I'm sad to say that I was disappointed. As I went in all I could smell was detergent and me trying to see the bright side was like "oh at least is clean" even thought the detergent smell wasn't good. While I was making the line the employee said that there weren't many flavors because only one fridge was working but didnt pay much attention to it. When it came to order there were only two flavors available, chocolate with brownie and caramel, and the other was chocolate with almond;I do understand that I came when it was about 40 minutes to closing but is a weekend. After I left I noticed that there were about 8 people in line and they had only 2 flavors left.... One thing that I really liked about La Argentina is that they are true to its name and they speak Spanish. Another thing, for those who expect their chocolate gelato to be sweet be aware that it so bitter that you might think that is coffee. Gotta say I was really looking forward to this place as I had memories of eating gelato as a child and really enjoy it. It wasn't...
Read moreThe gelato was amazing but I am leaving 2 stars because the service was horrendous. I waited in line for 27 minutes because the teenager behind the counter was very slow and inefficient, but that is not what was so aggravating to me. The thing that annoyed me more than anything is that she asked each person after they gave her their credit card whether or not they wanted to tip her. How inappropriate and rude! And after waiting so long?? I couldn't believe she had the audacity to do that. It made everyone feel uncomfortable, which is understandable because of how obviously undeserving she was in the first place. I told her not to ask me if I wanted to tip her and made it loud enough so that other people would realize that they don't have to let her put them on the spot like that. My visit was late in the...
