December 19, 2022 time is 7:30pm. I brought my mother to this location to purchase a gingerbread house. Sadly the two gingerbread houses were chipped and missing a couple of pieces. Which was totally fine. I was going to purchase it regardless and fix it myself by purchasing items at hobby lobby. I walked to the cashier register to ask the elderly overweight woman with short dark brown hair. She gave me an attitude because I pointed out, on both gingerbread houses it was chipped. But I wanted to know if by any possibility they would have another gingerbread house somewhere in the back storage. Unfortunately her customer service skills were poorly. I don't know if she was having a bad day. But took it out on me. So I informed my mother. Please place the gingerbread houses back. I'm not purchasing these anymore, not after the attitude I received. If the elder woman does not like her job. Why not give somebody else the opportunity who's willing to work and have excellent, polite and coherent customer service skills. The lack of customer service skills will only result in losing revenue through your customers. Very...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this location today, which is a long drive from home and when we walked in, there were 2 employees there who did not even greet us nor ask if we needed any help. One was literally standing a few feet from us as we walked in. We shopped for 30 minutes and they still did not acknowledge us. They were finally friendly when we checked out. If we didn't like the product so much we never would have purchased anything from this store due to their lack of friendliness. It was very uncomfortable. I normally shop at Trudy's Hallmark on Eldridge and Briar Forest where they are extremely friendly. I just wanted to try a different Hallmark but I definitely will not change from...
Read moreMy daughter and I just left this hallmark. I am not ok with how we were treated. I started walking in the direction of one of the employees and she pulled her face shield down and looked at another employee and they just began to laugh out loud. I turned around and looked at them and one of the employees said, oh, she was just putting her mask on before I get on her. Well first of all if you were paying attention to your customers and not standing around chatting you would not have to make customers feel like they are the plague. I just didn't appreciate the way she did that. We as people, regardless of race should really learn how to...
