Panda Express — Restaurant in Katy

Arrived at 8:30pm, restaurant closes at 9pm. Most items were not available, the ones available were over cooked and poorly presentable. Regardless, we purchased 3 bowls and 1 plate. When we got home, the plate was not in the bag and it was not charged for. I called the restaurant, an Asian man answered, I explain about the plate missing (my husband’s dinner), he asked if we were charged, I check the receipt and said No, then he said “so what’s the problem?” I got agitated and he passed the phone to Gaby. I explained to her that the problem is not the money BUT THE MISSING DINNER!!!! she apologized and asked me to return to the restaurant, PAY for the food, and PICK IT UP!!! I refused to do so because by the time I picked up the plate and brought it home for my husband to eat, it would have been sitting there for almost 45 minutes!!! They could have easily offered to make a fresh batch for me to pick up, which I would have. But instead, they simply said “come pay for it and pick it up!!!” The Asian man (“Mohammad”) and Gaby, the assistant manager, need better conflict resolution training as both incompetently handled the entire situation. I will not return to...

I am a frequent visitor of Panda Express. I like their price .well I should say I used to be frequent visitor of Pand Express till yesterday.I visited this location and had very bad experience in my life when it comes to restaurant.1. When I entered the restaurant the person did say "Welcome to Panda etc etc. but the tone she said was so bad as if she is going to give me the food for free :). Anyway I still went ahead to order my food. I looked at the food counter, Half of the trays were almost empty.. Hmmm I thought they will let me know if they are running out of food. So I ordered chow mein with chicken cracker. The waitress was so rude while taking the order.. It kind of turned me down. The chicken fire cracker tray had hardly anything inside but the lady tried to scrap the tray and got 4-5 chicken pieces ... woh I said to myself. then she put the chow mein. I paid for the food and sat on the table to eat. My god the food was all cold. chow mein were all dried out and very difficult to bite. I could not eat the food so I just let the lady know my experience and left the place. I will never ever go the any...

my family and I really like panda express but like most things that I give less than three star ratings to it is just a fast food place that is a monopoly. I don’t really know, but I would rather give my money to a small business that are people that I know and trust. I also feel like the people that are working. Don’t really care about giving you large portions when the food is not really given to them by payments of money, they just have to make us and I would hope that they would let people have large meals. And most of the time people have leftovers as panda express so it would not go to waste. I just hope that they take peoples thoughts into consideration, and that managers do not waste the food because most of the time it goes to the trash at the end of the night, so especially at the end of the night they should be trying to empty out those pans. as always much love from Houston and the universe...
