I love KFC, fresh chicken, but coming to this restaurant was very disappointing. As we all know, the prices have gone app all Uber the country, but you would think even with the prices going app that the companies would want to make sure that their food is fresh and good. Unfortunately, I went to this location. And ordered me an 8 piece chicken, and because I was so hungry. When I got in my car, I took a bite of my chicken only to find that my chicken was old and extremely dry. So I took my food back into the restaurant and the manager. Explain to me that the chicken that she served me was over twenty minutes old, and it would take four minutes for me to receive fresh chicken. So, of course, I waited for my fresh chicken and I was very pleased. It was hot, fresh, and crispy. But the point of the matter is that all restaurants should serve you fresh food upon your order 20 to 30 minute old chicken. I was very disappointed in this restaurant. But I did appreciate the honesty from the manager. Letting me know how old the chicken was. I was disappointed in the fact that she thought it was okay to serve it, but okay, it is what it is. People, please, when you go to these restaurants. Ask for fresh food if you are willing to pay full price for what they're giving you. Read moreI was craving KFC and decided to go to this location... bad idea!! I was in the drive-thru waiting 20 minutes. The person taking my order over charged me for 3 wings and 2 sides ($16 and change)!! I told her wait, there's an option not on the menu board posted at the drive-thru, and I normally order this and it comes to no more than $7. I did not want a drink. Told her to scratch that order and I just got the 3 piece combo under the assumption it came with 2 sides because I told her mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I get to the window to pay and my order had 1 side and she never stopped me to say it only included 1 side and not two. The KFC prices are never consistent even if you order the same thing numerous times. My order included a drink (that I did not want), 3 wings and coleslaw... no mashed potatoes for $11.46. I didn't want the hassle of them adjusting my order. I just wanted my food so I could go. Having to wait for so long for 3 pieces of chicken and coleslaw only (when I wanted mashed potatoes too), was a waste of time. And to make things worse, my drink had no ice. I asked for ice and they say they ran out of ice!! So I'm over here sipping on a large cup of warm ass Pepsi. What theeee hell?? Anyways, I won't be back. Read moreI placed my order at the speaker. Proceeded to the window. When I get there, I get not greeted but rudely asked "may I help you?" I then tell her that I'm paying for my order. At first, I thought she was being playful and just kidding with me. But she then proceeded to get angry and said that it wasn't their policy to accept orders at the window. I told her I had placed my order and that my total was $3.24 after the lady on the speaker told me the total. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager. Manager comes and he says he's gonna "fix it for me this time but that it's their policy not to accept orders at the window." I just told him that it was fine and that I just wasn't gonna get my order.
I was made seem like I was the "bad guy" and that my order wasn't placed because of my fault. I went through the speaker and waited in line at the drive thru. If they can't even take an order, what's the purpose of the employees there? Either retraining is needed or they need to get rid of the whole staff.
