Kauai Calls — Local services in Kauai

2022 After making the reservation for the Waipouli Beach Resort, it was easy to get a hold of the people at Kauai Calls for answers to our questions. Once we were there and started having issues, it was more and more difficult to get a hold anyone for assistance. Some issues were never resolved, such as changing a broken light bulb. And to add insult to injury, on the last day, our check-out time was 10:00am. I went out to dump the trash at 9:45am and our key code would not work anymore. Luckily, my wife was inside and heard me pounding on the door. When I contacted Kauai Calls, I was given no answer as to why our code stopped working BEFORE check-out time. Things could have gone smoother and we are not sure if we will use Kauai Calls in the future or even recommend them. There are other options available.

POSITIVE UPDATE: We stayed at this same resort (Waipouli Beach Resort) in 2023 and 2024, both times booked via KAUAI CALLS. We have had no problems since the little mishaps in 2022. CATHY, CANDACE and MELVIN have taken very good care of us and our needs the last two visits. We will continue to use KAUAI CALLS...

We booked an apartment at Waipouli Beach Resort via Kauai Calls. Apartment was beautiful with amazing beach views. Everything went smoothly with remote check in and check out. Kauai Calls responded promptly to any email enquiries we sent. Our only negative feedback would be for the operators of the resort (not related to Kauai Calls). Seems if you didn’t book directly via Outrigger the staff at the resort were not willing to give guests the time of day. Front reception was unhelpful with any simple request and in general the staff didn’t seem to be happy to be working at the resort (staff at the restaurant were lovely though). Overall a great location with small shopping mall across the street (Safeway, Ross, a few restaurants and the best shaved ice place we found in Hawaii) and the unit we stayed in was exceptionally well appointed with...

We LOVED our stay with Kauai Calls. The A207 suite was magnificent. In-person, it was even better than the lovely photos! I could not imagine a better setup for a family stay on Kauai. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the closets were stuffed with pool toys and boogie boards. The Waipouli Beach Resort was fantastic. Our huge Lanai had perfect Sunrise views. This suite's design delivers the indoor/outdoor living experience in spades. The pools, water slides & lazy river were definitely dialed in for kids. Still, the overall poolside experience has a lot to offer adults. Across the street is a Wailua Shaved ice, the best, and a Safeway. The location is super central to the Island. The Westshore has a fantastic cycling path, and this location puts you in the middle of it. Oasis on the Beach is a must-book. Next door Kenji Burger...
