The Kearny Farmers Market grocery store was formerly known as the James Farmers Market Grocery Store, which was on Passaic before BJs moved in and renovated the industrial buildings into the shopping center it is now.
The market often has great produce deals, and I often come here when I need a ripe avocado, papaya, or persimmon for immediate use. There’s also a florist by the cashier for small popular flowers arrangements (I.e. roses, etc.). Since moving to Kearny Ave the store functions as more of a hybrid bodega/grocery store. It’s nothing fancy, but it is convenient and I am happy they are still in business.
