Pollería Carbon & Sabor — Restaurant in Kearny

We went with my family for dinner and first they told us no more chicken ,,restaurant was still open but chicken for costumers eating in side but yes for delivery , second we ordered something different and out was was disgusting , my salad was black and old lettuce , my meat was undercook , the fried salty , omg everything was bad , but the worst worst was the service , it’s was 3 ladies ( 2 server ) and one old woman in the register and our sever never came to our table to ask us if you need something , she was more busy playing with all the man around , I imagine to receive more tips , because the feeling in the restaurant was more like cantina and not familiar restaurant , the mans bring their drinks ( alcohol ) and then they playing around with this 2 young servers , awful we were needing plates , salt condiments etc etc and this ladies very busy with the mans . We not recommend this place at all , food is awful , service disgusting like a poor quality bar , first the owner need to solve the problem with the quality of food and second hire decent people , people who care about costumers and not about to be playing with the drunk mans around , they need to respect...

Today I had two scheduled deliveries with this restaurant, it was an order of more than 800 dollars. The first delivery all good arrived at the indicated time the food was hot everything very good the second delivery was schedule for 4:30 delivery that we received it after 5:30 when I called the restaurant the lady had the nerve to lie to me and say that the driver had a problem with his car when it was that they forgot the order I asked why they didn't call me and notified me they said they didn't have my number when the number was on the food ticket that I arrived after 5:30 they didn't call me to notify me that the delivery would arrive late and I didn't hear an apology for it either honestly the person who answered me is unprofessional believes that answering in a bad way and giving excuses comes out of responsibility honestly it's not a place to do big orders I ordered to feed a company and they were bad with a delivery more than an hour late and I had more then 30 employees waiting...

The food is delicious! BUT the service is horrible. On New Years Eve Eve, my family had pre-ordered and pre-paid for a pollo la brasa with fries and they told us to pick up the next day at 7pm. We get there at 7pm and it’s a mess inside. No organization and very upset customers that also pre-ordered food, waiting to pick up. When we told them we were there to pick up, at first they were lost and then they told us that the food was ready since the morning. But the day before, they’re the ones that told us to pick up at 7pm. Anyways, they had given away our order and we had to wait an hour. Once we got home, ready to eat, the chicken and fries were uncooked. It had to be finished cooking in the oven and the fries in the air fryer. Very disappointing and will most likely not be coming back. In the past, I had ordered a ceviche and jalea and both are chef’s kiss but our recent experience out...
