I brought my wedding ring to get a diamond replace that had fallen out in early June. I went back 1 week later and was told my ring was misplaced.The owner said he never got it back from the company they send back a empty box. He wasn't Apologetic. Very dismisses and said my ring was only worth 1000$ when my husband bought it 11 years ago it was 4000$ I keep everything so I had the recipt and appraisal. After alot of back and forth we agreed he would make me a new ring of same value even though I know my ring would appraise for more today . It's gold &diamond it appreciates in value. Fast forward to July 22 a women calls me and said she found my ring behind a desk or something. I was super happy. Go to pick it up and this man had the nerve to charge me 165$ after all he put me through. Terrible bad business practices.i would of been ok paying for the diamond which was a very small one. I went here to get a battery change for a watch that was passed down to me by my father. The battery change went fine so I also asked if I could have a link removed from the bracelet and the older gentleman told me he needed a few hours to cut the one link off given the screw was stuck (cut link shown in the plastic bag he gave me). I accepted trusting that he’d take care not to damage the rest of the watch but I never should have went through with it… he completely disfigured the bracelet in the process of removing the one link. The bottom of the bracelet along with the Movado logo now has deep scratches from his tools and one of the joints for the clasp was also bent.
