
I going to start out this review by saying I always have to travel to buy a new car because I always buy very specific cars, so car shopping is generally out of state and quite the ordeal for me. This time around I have had a number of deals go sour with bait and switch or just plain nonsense and I was 100% burned out on finding an SRT Jeep.
I have never had luck in the NJ/Metro Ny area even with factory dealers because there are always crazy hidden fees and requirements that pop up after you have driven there. So I wasn't too hopefully when I sent in a request for my now new to me Jeep GC SRT.
Jimmy Rodriguez called me almost immediately about the SUV after the request which is expected in today's car market but sometimes doesn't happen. We talked, I put down a deposit and we set an appointment. I had to reschedule because I was a chicken and didn't want to drive in Metro rush hour traffic for a test drive. Jimmy was totally cool with it.
At some point I decided I was going to bring a check with me and he helped me with all the processes needed to get to that point, then my bank stiffed me on the financing with a garbage appraisal. Jimmy had my back, with my credit score and putting down a little extra we got financing with a better monthly payment than I was initially looking at and a trash but decent rate for todays world. All along he texted and called, answered a number of skeptical and probably annoying questions from me and was a great dude. When we showed up Saturday morning he was already busy and the dealership was kind of slammed which is a good sign. Even with everything going on he helped us out got all of our paper work done with us and got us on the road. This is a pro who helps you get the car you want not a salesman. The kind of guy you'd take out for a beer if he wasn't working and it was 11 am on a Saturday.
Jimmy said the Jeep was in mint shape outside of 1 or 2 tiny things we discussed and now that I have gotten home and gone through it with a fine tooth comb the man wasn't lying. I am very happy with my purchase and
