All and all the sushi is pretty good but after my 4th time ordering from them I have noticed some things that I believe they need to address. #1 the Menu prices are different than what you actually pay at the register.
#2 and in my opinion the biggest red flag is the fact that even if you order for pick up and pay cash they still charge you the credit fees AND they force a 15% tip on the bill but they don't tell you about it. I even asked if they changed the prices or something because I saw the added $5 tip on the screen and I didn't want to come off rude in any way, in fact I would have left it as is if they would at least acknowledge it and or told me about it but instead I was told that the prices were the same and all I was being charged were "Taxes". (I did not asked for the tip to be removed, I left it alone and simply paid. Mostly because I didn't want to argue)
My order total was supposed to be $32.xx instead I was charged $40.45. (I was not given a detail receipt either) I am a small business owner myself and I would never do this to one of my customers, 1 customer alone worth way more than $5 and I believe that if they continue these business practices they will end up losing many more customers.
I'm likely to come back mostly because my wife loves sushi smh and I simply hope that they get better with time. I understand times are hard for small businesses but we can at least strive for honesty when it comes to...
Read moreI was eagerly waiting for this place to open and was looking forward to trying their food. Service was very disappointing. I went during lunch time on a weekday and there were barely any customers there and just one server who took a very long time to attend to me. I was not greeted or given a menu when I entered either. The chairs and tables looked old, which is surprising considering they recently opened. The food itself was okay, I tried the sushi burrito which could have used more protein and seasoning. Also the prices on the register are slightly more than what is on the menu for some reason. Again strange considering they just opened.
Update: I thought I would try them again. I called in advance to place my order so it would be ready by the time I got there. It was not. They hadn't even started. The store was almost empty, so them being busy was not the case. They were incredibly slow, and once I got my food the box was leaking the juice everywhere! I even found a hair inside my ceviche!!! Read moreHorrible experience . I arrived before a group of customers and was made to wait for them by the server with the braces since they were Spanish speaking. Then was told to wait 45 minutes after my order was taken for to go from the same server with the braces. I decided to wait and told them ill come back. Despite being inform about the 45mins wait, i got back to the restaurant an hours later, and as soon as I arrived, they had me wait for 5mins. more. When i confronted on the server i spoke about my order, i was met with attitude. I even said “I’ve been waiting for more than an hour.” Yet, I didn’t get my order till more than the 5mins. extension. I got home, and found out one of my order which was the salmon sashimi was half frozen…….. WORST!!!!!!i was so disgusted and furios.
