I have gone here in the past many times , I guess maybe it's the children And not the parents anymore , But I didn't enjoy my visit this time , The young lady that helped us was really bizarre , She had an attitude of i'm annoyed, Why are you here , If. What they're running is an online business. They should switch to just doing that I don't know what they're doing , Used to go up there to get the sausages And backbacon Spent like $60 dollars And we got home ,There was no bacon , My wife refuses to go back , found the whole experience extremely unfriendly and unwarm , The place looks like it's falling apart , Dark and like a dungeon, And the young lady was impatient while we looked around otherwise We would have bought more , I think this is the problem. When you didn't start something yourself. You don't really want to be doing it , Place is extremely old And clearly they don't put any money back into the business , Really seems like a business that is just limping along With bullets in both legs , I'd been there twenty something times when I was younger , It's unfortunate. I will not go again I felt completely unwelcome , And unwanted as a customer ,And my wife who Is from new castle england , thought I was out of my mind for going there Could not understand what I saw in this place and after this visit I couldn't either , I wish the family who owns it Good luck but I won't come back , I'll just find products online I mean you should kind of have respect for people who travel all the way to kearney To visit...
Read moreI placed an order over a month ago and ended up never receiving it. During this time span, I contacted them three times to ask about my order. I got told that they were out of some items and were waiting but it would ship in the next week. My items didn't arrive. I called them back and they said that they make some of their items fresh and that I would receive my items in the next week. I still didn't receive my items. I waited another week and called them and was told that they were still out of some items. I waited another week and finally the guy told me they would replace my items with some like items but then they would have to upcharge me on my shipping. at that point I was so frustrated that it had been well over a month since I had placed my order, the store never communicated with me as to why there were delays except when I called, and the fact that now they were going to upcharge me on the shipping cost even though it's their fault that they were out of the items and did not seem to be bothered by the fact that I had not received my product, I finally canceled my order. Really poor business practices and terrible customer service. The only excuse that they gave me was that they're in New Jersey and I'm in Missouri; If you advertise that you can ship out this far, then do it. But if you can't handle it, then don't advertise that it's something that your...
Read moreWhen Moloney's Meat Market, in Jersey City, suddenly closed I went searching for a new neighborhood meat market & Stewart's Scottish Market showed up on my radar. I drove from Union City & arrived at 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. They closed at 5:00. I went there specifically for Irish bacon & white pudding. I pushed the door open and wasn't 2 feet inside the store when the man behind the counter barks at me that "if YOU don't have an order we are closed". I was a little taken aback but said OK and I walked out since I hadn't called in an order. I opened the door back up to get clarity on protocol, asking "if one always has to call in orders?", and I add that I was looking to purchase Irish bacon & white pudding. The response...."We are very overwhelmed....(que the attitude).....I can MAYBE get you the bacon". I'm confused, there were 2 other people in the store. I can't comment on their product but the attitude & crudness was enough for me to...
