I went to my first professional bra fitter when I was a teenager. I grew up outside of NYC so it was easy to find one. When I moved up to Keene in 2012 I transitioned to buying my bras online because of lack of options around here and often settled for a "good enough" fit since returns were a hassle. When La Peche opened up I waited a long time before going in because I was afraid I would be disappointed (given my experience with buying bras and this is a small town) and that it would end up being an awkward experience. Boy was I missing out. Four bras and a pair of panties later I am so excited and happy to have beautiful bras that fit me perfectly. What a relief to be in a changing room again with a knowledgable fitter (Katharine) adjusting the style and size of bras she brings me based off my very specific feedback until we got to the right ones. The landscape of bra fittings has changed, too - I lived in the world thinking I fluctuated in the D-E range with a 34-36 band, but walked out with 32I and F and G. I don't remember those options being available when I was younger. If you're a busty lady (and, honestly, even if you aren't) this is the most supportive environment to have properly fitted undergarments. We are so lucky to have them here in Keene. I am so grateful that I don't have to buy bras online anymore! I will be a reoccurring customer and I'm excited to treat myself to a new bra every few months.
Another note: there were some bras that I wanted to try that they had at their Manchester store and it was a straightforward process where they brought them to Keene the next day and I was able to come back in and try them on (and buy two!) in less than 24 hours. Quicker than Amazon,...

I (36 yo F) wasn’t sure what to expect walking into La Peche with my mom (69 yo F), but we both had such a great experience!! Chloe and Colby were kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful. They made us feel comfortable right away and took the time to find the right fit for each of us.
The store carries a wide range of high-quality pieces...everything from everyday bras and underwear to maternity, post-mastectomy, cozy pajamas and pretty lingerie. It’s not just for one age group—they have something for everyone.
Neither my mom nor I had been professionally fitted before, and we were stunned at how far off we were in sizing (which explains a lot...I had been wearing a 36B when apparently I'm a 32DDD!). We each left with two bras that made us feel amazing...supported, comfortable, and confident.
Prices can be on the higher side, but the quality is incredible (and I totally believe you get what you pay for when it comes to bras). They also have a 50% off section and offer complimentary fittings, so it’s absolutely worth checking out. I’ve already recommended it to...
Read moreI'm not typically one to write reviews but felt it necessary after my recent experience(s) at La Peche in Keene.
After purchasing three items, cutting off the tags and wearing one item for a week, I was very unsatisfied/uncomfortable with the fit. I called and spoke with the owner (not who I originally worked with) and she told me to bring the unworn, unwashed, tag-less bras back to the store to "figure something out".
This afternoon she worked with me for about 30 minutes to find a properly fitting garmet and provided me store credit for the returns she accepted. Then she told me to return the one I wore for a week so that she could address the issue with their supplier. When I left, she advised me to wear the new one, with tags, for a few hours at home to ensure we had the right one, and to bring it back if I wasn't happy!
La Peche advertises their desire for customers to feel comfortable and happy and they did just that. I am extremely happy with the product, service...
