My dad and I have a fun tradition where I send him different coffee to sample because he lives on a small island in Hawaii where it's hard to find different varieties. I first came across Prime Roast Coffee when a big brand announced they were discontinuing their Komodo Dragon roast. This was my dad's favorite and I would scour stores to find it. After some time on Google I found Komodo Dragon on Prime Roast's website. I saw they were a smaller company and liked what the reviews had to say and decided to try it and another roast for his birthday gift. It arrived to him with a personal note and he was blown away with how good it was. Ever since then, I send him a Prime Roast order every birthday and Christmas. There are so many roasts for him to try, which is impressive because he loves dark roast and those are usually harder to find many varieties to experiment with. The coffee has been so good that I have stopped trying to find different brands for him to sample and we just experiment with everything Prime Roast has to offer. He raves about it so much that I think I'm overdue for a personal order so I can enjoy some, too! Thank you for making every order so special and for your excellent products and customer service! -Krystal (my dad is Ted in...
Read moreIt may not look like like more than your typical walk-in coffee shop, but it is so much more! Prime roasts its own coffee just outside of town. Sinful Delight lives up to its name (and the other coffees are terrific too). I drink it at the shop and buy it for home too. We also take all of our visiting friends and family there, who then insist we go everyday.
More pluses..... They are thoughtful enough to use compostable cups. The service is so fun, informative, and helpful. The line might be long, but it moves at a good clip. There are only a few places to sit, but with a lovely downtown like Keene, it's fun to take your coffee and have a nice walk.
Now, I have not eaten any of the food there, but my sister and then menfolk have enjoyed and of the treats and specialty drinks.
I buy coffee there and go in just for coffee about once or twice a week. It has been consistently great each time in the months I have lived here. My only complaint is that they are...
Read moreI love the small-town charm of this unique little coffee shop. When you open the door, you are welcomed by the sweet aromatics of freshly ground coffee grinds. The cashier Veronika can help you decide what to order if you are unsure when you get there. They pay attention to a lot of little details here & make a great cup of coffee. Plenty variety of hot and cold coffee and teas to choose from as well as fresh bakery items. You can relax in a cozy nook inside or enjoy the seating outdoors in front of shop. Each month they display artwork by local artists which are also available for purchase. This month artist Gordon Heckman works are on display. Beautiful paintings! Plenty of easy access metered parking at the curb in front of the store . Will be visiting again if I am in the area because I appreciate a good cup of...
