Edit: I did get a refund after I made this post. I appreciate it. What bothered me the most was being lied to. You should never have told me it had already shipped 8 days ago when it hadn’t. Terrible way to do business.

I’m very disappointed in this company. I have followed them for years and really enjoyed their videos. I ordered a graduation door hanger for my daughter’s graduation. She said they were all going out on May 6th. I never received any email confirmation so May 12th six days before my daughter’s graduation I started emailing. I didn’t get a response so I emailed again the 17th. I asked for the order to be canceled since it was too late. She then responded that it had already shipped but she would cancel the order since it was missing her graduation. I told her if it was on the way not to worry about it since she worked hard making it. It has been another week and no item. I emailed again last night and said I need a refund since I have no item. All the sudden I get an email saying a label has been made. So she lied to me last week. I no longer need or want this item and I am so disappointed that she does...

I hate writing these types of reviews as I am a small business owner as well, but I have to say I am so disappointed in this shop. I ordered several family name ornaments as Christmas gifts. I have to say they were very nice. However, one of the ornaments came with a name misspelled. I reached out to Vanessa on Dec 27, 2023 and received a reply expressing her apologies and that she would get me out an ornament right away. On Jan 17, 2024 I reached out to her again checking on the status of my replacement and received no reply. I emailed again on Jan 23rd and was then told it was going out the next day. On Feb 12th I emailed yet again and was told that she dropped the ball, thought it was recut and sent and promised it would be sent out the following day. In Feb 24th I emailed once an again to check on the status and have received no reply. I have tried to be patient as I know they are a small business, but do not make promises you can not follow through on. It is now Feb 28, 2024 and I have no replacement ornament and have received no reply. Won’t be ordering...

EDIT: Over 2 months and still haven’t gotten refunded. And Vanessa said it was done. She lies and please NEVER do business with her. There isn’t a positive review on here and I wish I looked prior. Only review I see was someone that went to a craft fair. DO NOT BUY FROM HER SHE LIES! And may send you a gift card which is a joke as I know I wouldn’t get anything. NOR do I want to support someone like her. Lost total trust with Vanessa Calkins! It’s the end of May and this has been going on for months.

I ordered 2 planters! I tried contacting Vanessa and no response as it showed no planters coming! I finally called my credit card company to dispute the charges. She’s calling me a liar. I found her from someone who feels terrible about this situation. I again have sent her proof that nothing was sent and proof from my credit card company. DO NOT USE THIS VANESSA CALKINS! She is so unprofessional and was extremely rude to me. I wish I came here before...
