I have not been to US Cellular in approximately 15 years. I will say I have been missing out because US cellular has changed. The staff are absolutely amazing, 100% real down to earth understanding good listeners. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was there was not that long line No more waiting for an hour to be assisted or even pay your bill. As times have changed we can all handle our bills online. The individual to welcoming to US Cellular was Mark and he is the manager. Mark was absolutely fantastic in assisting me as I am not tech savvy but I want the best tech. I entered with a brand new US Cellular phone that I needed to turn on. I also have a need to buy things. As I was browsing phones I asked Mark to assist me and what followed was Mark showed me three phones two that I had inquired about and then he brought me over to another one price was$699.00. Mark offered me a sale price on the phone that I absolutely could not walk away from it was so good I actually questioned him. I was then hand it over to John Winter to finish my transactions which now included turning on two phones. John was also amazing I am not the easiest customer but I will say a fun customer. I have severe ADHD and I always make it known I'm probably not going to remember so I'll be back. What are the changes that occurred at US Cellular that I really liked is when they pull all your information from your old phone to your new phone they cannot see anything they hand the phone back to the customer and have you verify the transferred information. The phone I purchased is designed with an encryption program so everything coming in or going out it's all encrypted if anybody has the ability to intercede my information they're not going to have any idea what it is. I am so extremely happy with my new phone I'm shocked everyday by what it does how fast it functions I can't thank Mark enough for showing me this phone I am so happy that I went back to US Cellular. I did return to US Cellular as I had a question on my phone and again I honed in on John to assist me again as I was also purchasing a case for one of the phones. John actually found me a case with a sale price as I was looking for the indestructible cases. On this trip I met a gentleman named Tanner also another super employee. The hierarchy at US Cellular is Mark the manager then Tanner and then John. These employees other than the supervisors manager work on commission so I do suggest if you have a good rapport and or are satisfied with the service you receive from a particular employee please remember that they do work on commission and try to find that individual with each visit. This not only will build a strong business relationship but it also builds up the employee in self-confidence and knowing their ability to perform their job well. Read moreYou go there- and even if to pay your bill you have to sign in and wait in line. I have waited up to 1 hour to pay a monthly bill that should have taken less than 5 minutes to pay. I blame this stores management they should have a line just to pay for your bill. If they had a pay bill line I would have been out in 3 minutes. Now let's get to the point. I pay my gas bill , I pay my oil heat bill, I pay my home phone bill, I pay my my electric bill, I pay my Internet bill, I pay my tv cable bill, but this company won't send me a paper bill in the mail to my home because they say I have no credit. But all the other companies gave me credit. Why can't the give me credit and cancel my account if I fail to pay. You call and all you get when you punch in 3 to talk to some one is "they are unavailable" ALWAYS. This store and company has a short life span. I waited in line and after 1 hour left without paying my bill. Before I left I see 4 others leave (mad). Now I tell everyone I know not to deal with this company. And I'm sure the 4 who left before me are doing the same. . This store and company are going to be short lived. Management should start looking for a new job soon. Investors will soon sell there stock. But this is just a speculation based on what has happened to me and others. We will wait and see what happens to...
Read moreI have been with US Cellular for just about a year and a half. In that time I experienced, rude employees, incorrect information, and poor service. The straw that broke the camels back and that inspired me to write this review upon my exodus from this terrible cellular provider; When calling to get information that was needed to switch carriers, I encountered a US Cellular rep who was rude, attempted to withhold information from me to make it difficult to process the transfer of my phone number and finally screamed at me because he did not understand what I was asking for. Treating customers - even former customers with such disrespect will not help their sales. I hope the conglomerate that bought them out, erases them and fires all their incompetent employees.
