The meat department was terrible. The butcher was not calling numbers at the time I arrived. There was a line formed in front of me - there were social distanced stickers on the floor which was good. The deli lady was also not calling numbers as she was just going in order of customers as they showed up. My family and I waited patiently for over 20 minutes. We were in no rush and wanted the sales items. Other customers started gathering away from the lined area and I walked away for maybe 20 seconds. There was a man who was already giving the butcher his order. My husband asked if I picked up a number and I said no because the butcher was not calling numbers, he said "next". The man who ordered from the butcher and 2 other customers behind me apparently all had numbers. One offered for me to go in front of her and the other lady behind me told the man who already ordered that I was there for a very long time. Now, the man offered for me to go ahead of him, but the butcher was already in the process of doing his order. The butcher offered no explanation of why he changed his order calling and he didn't even look at me in the face. He just kept doing his job. It was probably my fault for not asking how he was calling customers, but the service was horrible. I rarely go to this store because of the service. Read moreI went to this store location to return a few items totalling $9.83. The customer service attendant refused, stating a store policy that prohibits returns after a hurricane. Such policy is not noted on the store receipt nor posted at the check-out lanes. I asked to speak to the manager, but my request was denied. I then asked for the number to corporate headquarters. The attendant gave me the number and then proceeded to tell me that she had other things to attend to and could no longer be of assistance to me. I called the number given, and spoke to another store manager who indicated that my return should be accepted. I returned to the store and, after much duscussion, a manager named "Carmen" agreed to the return. When she noticed that the items had been purchased at another location, she blurted in Spanish that her store now "had to carry someone else's burden".
