By far the worst experience Iāve encountered while in any Target or any store for that matter. Came in to buy my son some NBA Ballers Series 2 Surprise Balls. These balls are 7.99 + tax have always been even series 1.I use to order them for pick up but my guess is due to popularity they raised the price online to 19.99 but in store they remain 7.99.I have been coming into this store on a weekly basis and purchasing 10-12 each time for him. Like any other time I come in with my wife and son to do the same. Go to self checkout start scanning the balls and realize they are ringing up at 12.99 so I call over a worker explain he scans it with the online pricing and it comes up at 19.99 so I have to explain the pricing difference online and in store. He calls over a woman and she walks up asking what the issue is so I explain it to her and she begins to scold me on why I did not take a picture of the price tag in store and as Iām trying to explain I did not take a pic because I buy these all the time here and other targets itās always 7.99 and the big box on the end cap has 7.99 on it she proceeds to tell me sheās not walking back to check the price and she continues speaking over me and telling me sheās gonna do it so I stop trying to explain myself and she realizes I have 10 so she instantly says no Iām not doing that the most of a DISCOUNT Iām going to give you is $20. I WAS NEVER ASKING FOR A DISCOUNT I WAS NEVER TRYING TO GET OVER ON ANYONE! So Iām insulted at this point and I proceed to walk back take a picture of the item come back. At this time my wife and son stay at the register and the lady is trash talking me saying I have an attitude ( found this out later) I come back with the picture and video time stamp proving and the lady is gone I signal the gentleman again and ask if he can have someone else come to assist me he tells me the lady is already doing so. She walks back to me I show her the picture and video with time stamps and at this point sheās even more upset that she was wrong and is rambling on and as I try to respond she proceeds to lift her hand up as to tell me to shut up at this point Iām in complete disbelief of the terrible customer service and experience Iām having again in the presence of my 9yr old son and my wife. My wife at this point has had enough and raises her voice and tells the lady listen I let it go when you were talking poorly of my husband while he went to take the picture but enough is enough with the disrespect the lady immediately walks away. Another gentleman comes up I now explain briefly to him the situation show him the picture he gets it done and after all that still spend $100+. Some of the other people at self checkout were in complete disgust with the situation and even told me to not let this situation go. I ask the gentleman whatās the ladies name he says who the manager (my jaw dropped) I asked him to verify that woman is the store manager here he says she is. Wow just wow and I know this long winded this entire ordeal lasted from 7:51pm I didnāt walk out until 8:06pm on 6/6/2025. This all happen in the self checkout lane 2nd register to the left in front of a big screen that recorded the whole incident and you will verify how disgustingly rude I was treated not sure if it was the sweater or tattoos but I intend on taking this to the highest level possible because nobody deserves to be treated like this and my son was present and has so many questions as to why this even happen as do I. Store manager is a lady named Yurison I will not stop here you were wrong and nobody who watches the video will disagree you work in customer service and what you did was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never been more disappointed in Targets customer service (not from this store- they are always extremely helpful but from corporate).... I had bought a vacuum from Target in the end of February and hated it - it was extremely heavy and it didn't pick up as much dirt as should have . I wanted to return it and then COVID happened and they were excepting returns at the time. fine, completely understand. & then when they opened to returns again I was still a little hesitant to go out to just do a return for a few weeks. However, then I ended with COVID myself for a about 10 weeks and then my partner ended up having COVID after me so we weren't able to go out like we would have liked. SOOO NOWWW that we are all safe and better we tried to go to Target to return the vacuum for a store credit just to get a different vacuum. While the people in the store were nice about it they said since they don't have the vacuum anymore they aren't able to the return and that i would have to contact corporate since they have a different system and that they could for sure help me. WELL CORPORATE was a different story. HORRIBLE. I explained them my situation and instead of being HUMAN they basically said sorry store policy is store policy , we cant do anything for you- you should have returned the vacuum when opened up again. (both over the phone and on email with them) like IM SORRY?? SO YOU WANTED ME TO WALK INTO YOUR STORE WHEN I HAD COVID TO RETURN THE VACUM????? THANK YOU TARGET- I SEE NOW THAT YOU WOULD HAVE RATHER HAD ME IN YOUR STORE WITH COVID TO DO A RETURN FOR STORE CREDIT THAN TO JUST SIMPLY HELP ME WHEN I WAS SAFE TO GO OUT. WOW TARGET SO YOU WOULD BE OKAY WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS GETTING COVID FROM ME??? they told me they cant do anything the return would have to be instore and when i tried again they told i needed to contact corporate. it is so sad for me to through this experience with target because target has always been my favorite but to see such cold and horrible customer service I feel like I cant even shop with them anymore. no one predicted COVID nor people getting it so it is really sad to see how poorly they treat their customers. Its not like i didn't have proof of purchase or wanted cash, all I wanted was a store credit to get a different vacuum, no money lost...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter what I experienced tonight I wish i could leave zero star. I only left one to be able to write about my experience.
I went to Target to buy an Amazon gift card but turns out they didn't have, so I purchase an iTunes gift card for $25.00 from Target at 9:25pm after standing 2nd in line for almost 15 min while the cashier looked for a price for a mango for the customers in front of me.
I walked next door to Whole Foods to find the Amazon gift card I was originally looking for and bam! They had it, so I bought it. Not needing the iTunes gift card I went back to Target to return and get my refund. It had been less then 5 min since the purchase.
Since everyone is extra rude and cranky including myself this time of year I had to summon my chakras to reach a serene level of patience while waiting in the return line for 20 min, I was only third in line. Finally get to the clerk and explained my issue, she responded with we cant take returns for this because Target doesn't know if I used the gift card.
Target is a-lot of people, maybe thousands. So in thousands none of them can see the card hasn't even been opened and active...? Well...I asked to speak to a manager because I needed a better explanation then the one I was given. I was becoming disappointed in the situation.
SO A YOUNG NOT SO SMART WOMAN COMES TO THE COUNTER SMELLING LIKE SHE HAD AN ATTITUDE NOT FIT FOR A TARGET MANAGER SHE BASICALLY RIPPED ME A NEW ONE FOR ASKING FOR FURTHER HELP AND TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY WERE GOING TO DO "IT WAS NOT THERE PROBLEM". At that point i was furious and disappointed but kept it quiet, said thank you and left. As i turned around I over hear the 2 Target employees laughing at my frustration which was extremely rude and very unprofessional.
Other than not giving Target a penny of my money and recommending everyone I know to stay away I guess there is nothing I can do other than leave a review I hope people will read and get a glimpse of the quality of people working at Target.
If you read this Thank you very much. Writing this has defiantly relieved some of the...
