Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen - Pinecrest — Restaurant in Florida

First, a disclaimer I should note this rating applies to the staff at the Pinecrest location because they handled a very frustrating delivery situation related to their app very well. If I were to rate the app, it would be a totally different star rating..probably like 2 stars. Essentially, my situation was that I used their app to deliver food to a relative. I entered my relative's address and got an email confirming the delivery address and time. Then later that evening I got tracking info from Door Dash. I didn't initially think it was odd because just assumed they contracted delivery out. But then I noticed the driver moving towards my location rather than my relative's. I called the restaurant.

Jordan at the Pinecrest Bolay was incredibly helpful and understanding to help me figure out what to do, even through my panic and frustration.I was super stressed out because the food was not just being delivered to a relative but a relative who recently experienced a death in the family, so it was particularly important to get to them. And because of that, I likely was not the most pleasant to interact with. Jordan was extremely professional and helped find a solution to get a replacement meal out asap to my cousin. He even followed up to confirm. I greatly appreciated his calm support.

Moral of the story: don't order delivery through the Bolay app! Or at least definitely not to an address other than the one on your profile!

Every time we dine in or pickup at Bolay, we experience an amazing environment while enjoying incredibly delicious dishes. From the moment we enter the restaurant, which is inviting and impeccably clean, we’re greeted by the Bolay staff, who are professional, friendly, and personable. The interaction with the staff only adds to the experience of visiting the restaurant. The food is delicious, especially when we have a gluten intolerance. (I highly recommend the salmon! It’s seasoned extremely well.) The desserts are amazing as well. (Snickerdoodle is delicious.) Kudos to Bolay because the staff are definitely an asset for the restaurant. Thank you for providing an excellent dining experience!

Was introduced to this place couple of weeks ago. On my 5th visit I decided to get the same bol I have been ordering for the past 3 times since I really liked the food, but to my surprise it was $ 3 dollars more when they rang me up? As I asked why? First they told me I got double steak which is false never asked for extra, since that excuse didn't work then they said it's because I ordered a PREMIER item.... heck is the same exact order from my previous 3 visits. Finally " manager" comes to the rescue and to my surprise once again she could care less and decides to not even acknowledge they have charged me a different rate for the same bol not 1 or 2 but 3 previous times, I even offered to show her proof. End result as she explained it, the previous visits two different employees must of made a mistake, but regardless pay more today. Unreal, so she rather lose a new customer who has been spending over $16 a visit for the past 2 weeks than say sorry charge me same and tell me from here on this is the cost of your order even though we dropped the ball in the past. Incompetent Management, too bad since I really liked the food and was getting used to visiting for lunch...
