Outstanding Service and Leadership at Burgerfi Pinecrest; Mark Deserves Recognition!
My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Burgerfi location in Pinecrest recently, and I have to give special recognition to team member Mark, who went above and beyond to make our visit fun and high-quality dining experience.
From the moment we walked in, Mark's professionalism and enthusiasm were immediately apparent. He greeted us with a genuine smile and took the time to walk us through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences and telling us how Burgerfi is planning to enhance its menu offerings. His knowledge of the ingredients and preparation methods was impressive (especially in accommodating my wifeâs gluten allergy) he clearly takes pride in understanding every aspect of what Burgerfi offers.
What really stood out was Mark's natural leadership qualities. I watched him seamlessly coordinate with other team members (also really great), helping to ensure orders were accurate and timely. When there was a brief question about my wifeâs special dietary request (celiac), Mark handled it with patience and expertise, double-checking with the kitchen to guarantee everything was prepared correctly. He maintained a positive, encouraging attitude with his colleagues that created a genuinely pleasant atmosphere throughout the restaurant and offered us condiments, napkins, and great tableside service.
The food itself was exceptional - my burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy and delicious and well seasoned. But Mark's attention to detail made the difference. He followed up to make sure everything met our expectations and even offered suggestions for our next visit.
Mark demonstrates exactly the kind of customer service excellence and team leadership that makes a dining experience truly special. His combination of product knowledge, people skills, and natural ability to guide and support his team makes him an invaluable asset to this location. A coworker at my firm recently grabbed me a Wagyu burger and some Cajun fries and I damn near ate the bag & wrapper how good it was. They won me over from Pincho down the street. Unfortunately, theyâve seemed to become lackadaisical. I recently visited BurgerFi with high expectations, but unfortunately, my last two experiences were quite disappointing, particularly the last. I arrived on Saturday at the restaurant approximately 9:41 PM, well within their alleged Kitchen closing time of 10:00 PM. However, I was informed that the kitchen was already closed, and they could not accommodate any more guests. Now please keep in mind, that the kitchen close is separate from the restaurant close. The restaurant on weekends shuts down at 11. This advertised time can obviously cause confusion as the kitchen close isnât what is posted on Google. While I understand that staff may want to wrap up their duties and head home, it is essential for a restaurant to honor its posted hours. Arriving 19 minutes before the kitchen closing should still allow for service, especially when all was ordered was a burger and fry. This experience left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated, as I had planned my evening with a lady friend around dining at this establishment. It was the perfect spot to end the night. Luckily, I was still able to stop at Pinchos(or something like that) down the street, right before they shut down so it wasnât so much a terrible night. I hope that they can address this issue and ensure that their posted hours are respected, providing a consistent and reliable experience for all patrons. Until then, I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others who go in the later evening/night until they specify kitchen ours on Google(If they can.) I went back to the counter and said I was missing a fry and gave them the receipt the guy in the back said I made this fry but whatever ill make another one and looked at me like I was lying for a fry, I said you can go to my table and check it is not there. Basically stating that I was lying. He was extremely rude and ignored the situation. He did not come to check. The customer waiting next to me was shaking his head and said that was poor service. Don't waste your money here go somewhere else. If that's the treatment they give when they are wrong and could have gone to my table to verify i dont want that person making me food. Stay away from this place. The food is nothing special basic.
