Airline Shopping Center — Local services in Kenner

We stopped in for a couple of things. Cake was one on top of the list. They're hard to get at some rouses as they're often sold out of this particular cake. I was super excited they had one! We also purchased 5 lbs of boiled crawfish. I was very disappointed in this. They tasted good as far as spice is concerned but I think their boiling person needs a bit of training. They were a bit rubbery and many.of them were crushed and broken and inedible. At the amount I paid, I expect better crawfish. The store itself was clean, organized, inviting. There were no carts available so we had to go search the parking lot and get one. After getting our items we got in long lines and when we were next we realized that the lady cashier seemed like she'd rather be anywhere but there. She was just carelessly dropping groceries in bags, then tossing the bag out of the way. If lines hadn't been long I would've immediately went to another line. I will not be going back...

Made a pit stop at Rouses for some groceries. Mainly the shrimp cause there was a sale. I went to the seafood department cause I couldn't find it on the shelf n just look at all this exotic stuff here; wats that octopus?! Wow! N double yuk. Yall c that?! Anyway after all that I couldn't find the advertised shrimp I was looking 4 and the guy behind the seafood counter couldnt either. So I just made other purchases. Come 2 think of it- they were selling fresh boiled crawfish right outside. Me personally I LOVEEE shrimp. And the only options 4 that was the cooked with the heads n them looonngg whiskers-yuk. N the uncooked which as I said b4 was unavailable. But yah you can get fresh boiled crawfish, or potatoes or corn. Choose 1 or choose them ALL!...

Visited the Rouse's Fresh. Parking lot was clear of litter and buggies. This store was spotless! Picked up a birthday cake for our son and the girl in the bakery was very pleasant to deal with. She was extremely nice and helpful and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. There was 5 registers open with no wait to checkout at all. Definitely a class act at...
