Michael and Delaware Valley Restorations are the best. A number of years ago they refinished out cherry kitchen cabinets. They were quick, efficient, reasonable and did a great job - they looked better than new! A few months ago we asked them to refinish our 30 year old amish built kitchen table. They arranged pick-up/delivery, did the job quicker than promised (between the holidays) and again did a fantastic job. The moral of the story is twofold: 1) if you ever have the opportunity to select the stain/color on cherry - GO LIGHT. A darker stain over time will only get darker and eventually you can't even see the grain and 2) If you make the same mistake I did or have an older piece (or whole kitchen) you want to bring to life, call Delaware Valley Restoration. I completed a top to bottom renovation of my new house this past year. There are nine bathrooms all w beautiful custom made vanities that have worn over the years. There is also custom made cabinetry throughout the house that was not well maintained.. I wanted to keep the vanities and cabinetry because of the quality and craftsmanship. It would have cost a fortune in todays market to remake that quality of cabinetry. Mike Leo at Delaware Valley Restoration painted and restored all the cabinetry and it now looks like it is brand new. I could select whatever colors I wanted and the finish is just perfect. Michael, Performed an excellent job of refinishing and repainting our Sears "Open Home" bedroom (3) dressers purchased more than 35 years ago. The new antique white bases with the dark colored tops have drastically transformed the tried, old, out-dated honey brown stained finishes into ones that both my wife and I are extremely fond of. The whole atmosphere of the bedroom is now more brighter and makes for a more enjoyable environment. Michael and Henry are very professional, courteous, friendly and do "outstanding work". We couldn't be more happier in the relationships that were established during this our dresser refinishing project.
