Downtown Mercantile — Local services in Kennewick

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Downtown Merchandise. I was simply browsing the store when an employee started following me around, watching my every move as if I was doing something wrong. Despite not giving them any reason to be suspicious, I was approached and accused of stealing—without any evidence whatsoever.

It was clear that I was being racially profiled, as other customers were left alone while I was singled out and treated unfairly. When I tried to defend myself, the staff was dismissive and condescending. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and no one should have to endure this level of disrespect just for shopping.

I will never spend a dime here again, and I encourage others to think twice before supporting a business that engages in such discriminatory behavior. Do better, Downtown...

Went here with my family on a whim. It's such a beautiful shop! Its just across from Monarch Tattoo in the little white and green building.

The shop owner makes beautiful wire wrapped jewelry, plus they have an assortment of antiques and trinkets.

Everyone who works there was super friendly, easy to chat with and the prices were very very reasonable. We will be going back.
