Parkade Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kennewick

A few weeks back while in Kennewick I was originally on a waitlist at a different burger place (30 minute wait as well). While waiting I took a stroll east and got out of the shade at a little monument marker rest spot on Kennewick avenue. And lo and behold looking across the street I happened to see the Parkade Bar & Grill, so I moseyed on over and went inside. I knew right then and there that this was where I was going to eat. I bellied up to the bar where I was promptly greeted by a young barmaid, who got me started with water and a menu. I couldn't help but notice the food that was being prepared and saw burgers on the menu. I found what I wanted for a burger and it was calling out my name a Jalapeno Burger. My server got busy making drinks and dealing with pull tabs. But another server came over and asked how I was doing, and if I wanted to place an order, so I ordered the Jalapeno burger and a Pilsner that was on tap. My server also asked my name and introduced herself as Keli and left to place my order, not only did she take my order she also cooked up my burger. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the size of it and the amount of fries I got. Well it certainly looked good, and it tasted as good as it looked, what a nice hidden gem in downtown Kennewick, I highly recommend this place and I know that I will be back to try a different burger on that menu at the Parkade...

Stopped in to this bar as my friends stated their burgers are amazing and they were hungry. Well needless to say 3 of the 5 people in the group approached the bar seeking service. After 35 minutes and 2 games of pool, no service was ever provided. When the bartender was approached, she advised that she could not give out contract information to the owner or manager and that I can leave a number or contact them on facebook. Well Steve, as a corporate manager and bartender, training isn't done on a Friday night. Your bartender on 6-28-2019 advised it was only her and she was training, and it was extremely busy. Your bar had open spots at the bar and open tables. Your bar by no means was busy at all and if this is considered bust at 10:45 PM, then its obviously apparent that you need to hire more qualified and experienced staff members. The bartenders are trash. Horrible, disgusting, trashy place. Also, please keep a copy of your receipt as they are well known for overcharging on the gratuity, even after being left more than 20%. I had a $160 tab after buying a couple rounds for my friends after work. I tipped $35, yet when I checked my bank statement, they charged me $75 tip. Dishonest, disgusting bartenders.
