Total con artist I took my wedding and engagement rings into him to have them resized and he lied to me about the size of my rings. I had taken them in to other jewelry stores before going there looking for the best price and time frame of getting them back. Everyone told me that my rings are 7¼ and they need to go to an 8 but he said they were just 7 and needed to go to an 8.5 just to jack the price. Take your jewelry anywhere but this place Response to owners response Funny thing though I called your store prior to walking in and I was told that the price varied on the material of the ring how much resizing needed to be done. Also the butterfly ring that I brought in telling you I knew it was a size 8 you crammed it down on your little measuring stick to try to make it say eight and a half as best as you could that when I took it into the jeweler that is now actually resizing my ring they said that you stretched it to be eight and a quarter they're fixing that ring now as well. So if how much the size didn't matter I'm not sure why you tried to say my butterfly ring wasn't 8 and 1/2 and that my wedding band and my engagement ring were a seven. You may have the fastest turnaround but you're definitely not the cheapest price I'm getting both my wedding ring my engagement ring resized soldered together and the total cost is $130 you were telling me to just resize my two rings it was going to cost $200 yes you told me I would get my ring back tomorrow and where I took my ring told me I'll get my ring back on Monday but I'd happily wait the extra couple of days to save $70 and to know that the work is being done well by honest Jewelers. *Extra note I went to Fortner's jewelry at 2642 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099 I had both rings resized and soldered together and polished for $130.00 much better than the $200 I was quoted for just resizing at Milo's. He may be fast but this is your jewelry it means something to you not Milos. He's about overcharging and getting pieces in and out quickly but how good is the work? I'm glad I found this place to customize and resize my engagement ring I found a few places online and checked out that reviews and Milos came up from a different customer review of how great he was so I looked into Milo custom jeweler and I'm happy I did he did such a great job with my engagement ring it looked better then when I brought it in, I told Milo to add some sapphires and he gave me his opinion I wanted him to placed 6 stones on each side he said due to the style of the ring two on each side will look nicer he said sometimes less is more, thank you for that advice Milo, your honesty that what a good custom jewelers is in my opinion, I'm happy with how my ring looks.
