Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Kenosha

How disappointing. We stopped for dinner, right at the height of the rush, got seated right away, in the bar area. It's nice because there are no children in this area, so it's much more pleasant. Our server Alexia was also the bartender for the evening and she was already very busy at the bar. She was nice but unfortunately not able to tend to her tables because the bar was very busy. So getting refills on drinks and serving our food was kind of sporadic at best. I don't blame Alexia, I blame the management for short staffing the bar area. There was another server in this area, but he evidently doesn't understand the concept of team work. He walked past our table numerous times and could have easily asked if we needed refills or if everything was ok and didn't.

Our food took a very long time to be delivered to the table, and when it was delivered was about Luke warm in temperature. One of the burgers was a special one called Chimi Fresco. It was supposed to have a chimichurri sauce along with a special aioli, broiled cheese and pickled onions. The burger was overcooked. Luke warm, the cheese was hanging off of the burger, there was almost no Chimi sauce or aioli, and the onions were raw sliced onions. When my husband tried to reposition the slice of cheese it came up in one bent piece (cause it wasn't hot) and he topped it on his burger, he ended up having to use his fork to flatten the cheese so it would sit on the burger. My husband and I brought my mom and my step dad to red robin for her birthday. At first everything seemed to be great. Our server made a statement that she was really good at her job. Then she carried our food to the table and she dropped my mom's burger on the floor. We noticed the burger on the floor was wrong anyway. The server left it on the floor for over ten minutes then finally cleaned it up. Meanwhile I noticed my burger was wrong, then we noticed my step dad's burger was wrong. After a while everyone got their correct food. Then we got to the bill and saw that it was wrong. My husband ordered a pizza minus the baby spinach but the bill showed we were charged for the spinach he didn't want! Finally I talked to a manager and I'll admit she corrected the bill and removed my burger from the bill. However the entire experience was just horrible. Oh and the very small amount of fries brought out to the table was just sad. There were three out of four customers waiting for new burgers, so extra fries would have been nice. Customer safety was just not there leaving food on the floor so someone could slip. The order not being right, the bill. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to this location. Terrible! The hostess sat us at a half booth at the end where we were blocked in by the chairs of the customers at the closest table, even though all the other half booths were unoccupied. She showed us to the table and said here you go and walked away! We moved ourselves to another half booth that had the kiosk and center piece with condoments. We moved them to the side so we could see eachother only to reveal how poorly the table had been cleaned. We cleaned our table! We ordered an appitiser and the plates the waitress brought were badly chipped in multiple places and had food stuck to them. We requested new plates but the waitress had moved to the next table and ignored us until she was finished. Once she realized we were unhappy she went MIA and my wife had to waive her down from across the restaraunt to get service. When we paid at the table kiosk it would not print our receipt so we had to waive her down again toe get the receipt. This is usual for this location but not the chain. If ut had not been for the free burger my qife got for her birthday I would not have been there. Next time we will go to another location. Terrible.
