Asian Delight Marketplace — Local services in Kentwood

My most favorite Asian store in the Grand Rapids area! I used to live in Japan years ago and it reminds me so much of the market I used to shop in the village. I lived in, always generating, fond memories. They carry a wide selection of Asian delicacies and basics. Highly focused on Japanese, which is right up my alley of cooking I love that they get in seasonal Japanese food so I can stay in tradition Of my former lifestyle in Japan. Delightful staff always helpful. If you have any questions definitely ask they will definitely help you out. Especially if you’re new to Japanese cooking They have the best shabu shabu meat available, which is so hard to find in this area Of the country. They also have a great Japanese pickle selection. It is very clean inside compared to most Asian stores in this area, which always makes it a delight to walk into! Right next-door to Horrocks market, so Asian delight doesn’t have the vegetables you need you can pop over to the market next-door and grab alternatives Oh, yes, almost like the multitude of vending machines in Japan they have a great selection of Beverages. This store is always neat and tidy and friendly. They have a very nice produce section and a nicely varied freezer selection. Tons of dried noodles to choose from which are well organized. Much of the store is organized by region. It's always a treat to see what new and interesting candy they've gotten in even though I don't often purchase it due to its priciness (it is shipped across the world after all!). It's super clean. Sometimes I get nervous buying meats from Asian markets, especially the ones on Division where they leave the fish out and flies are all over them. This place is very clean, organized, and food is very fresh! Everything is properly packages and sealed. They have kimchi and very good bakery items delivered from Chicago.
