Tried out both chicken sandwiches, whitefish, fries, and funnel cake fries. Order was clearly confused. The pics show lettuce and tomato. The sandwiches actually have pickles and mayo (or spicy mayo). Chicken was fresh breaded breast, probably 4 ounce, overcooked. It was crisp and flavor was good. Nothing special for a $10 sandwich. I asked for no pickles and mayo on the side, neither request was honored lol. The whitefish was catfish (they sell both) so I'm guessing just a mix up. The catfish was good, mild and nice cornmeal breaded. At $10 for 2 pieces, the value is ok. I'm still curious how the whitefish is. Fries were typical coated fry. Good seasoning and stayed crisp even after a drive home. The funnel cake fries were flavorful, however the portion is a joke. I think its $6 for a handful of pieces. Overall I fed 3 people for $45, so value is average. The flavor was OK, nothing to seek out, but good nonetheless. The portions felt small for the price. I'll come back just to try the whitefish. The person taking my order was extremely friendly. I wish he had understood me better. I think the errors were from communication issues. Its harder to convey preferences (type of fish, lack of condiments) if there are language barriers. They just opened, so that likely contributed to less than perfection. Wings & Waves in Kentwood, MI. Omygudness! If there was a perfect! My first visit I ordered the 6pc whole wings w/garlic butter sauce and a side order of fries. The wings were fried golden with a light crisp. I dipped them in that garlic butter sauce and let me tell yal...when I took a bite, the flavor was so delicious! The menu items are cooked to order so expect a minimum wait time of 12-15 minutes depending on how much food you order. There is an option to provide your cell number if you choose. The boneless wings here are absolutely amazing – cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The customer service is just as great, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes the experience even better. The prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality of food and service you get....
