Whole experience was awful, my girlfriend was accused of stealing basically because she is Mexican. So Lindsay is a plain clothes worker for kohls and she followed my GF around the whole store, and at the end, after my Girlfriend BOUGHT a FEW items at Kohls, her and this man came up to her and accused her of straling and said just hand it over and everything will be ok. Well Lindsay and the guy she was with was 100% wrong because my GF didn't steal anything and she took Lindsay back to the spot to where My GF laid the items, the items that Lindsay thought my GF stole, she went through all her pockets and her purse and nothing was found. After being racially profiled and wrongfully accused of stealing, my GF talked to the managers (one named Allison) and they didn't apologize however they basically said well we have to get the real story from Lindsay, their awful employee. We told them to look at the cameras as well and they will see exactly what my GF said and did to be 100% the truth. However they basically backed Lindsay and how she racially profiled my my GF. A terrible experience and I wont ever shop at that store again. Awful customer experience and the managers both weren't competent enough to handle a situation like that, because they probably told Lindsay to...
Read moreI recently signed up for Kohl’s Rewards and, within just a few days, my phone began receiving countless spam texts and my email has been inundated with spam. It’s clear that Kohl’s is sharing phone numbers and emails, which has led to a frustrating and overwhelming amount of junk messages.
On top of that, the Woodland Mall location left a very poor impression. The entrance/exit I came in through had no checkout lanes at all, and the only available registers were clear across the store with no guidance or signage to indicate where they were located. I’m not sure when the decision was made to remove checkout lanes from all entrances and exits, but it’s a very bad idea and creates an inconvenient and confusing shopping experience.
The store itself felt neglected—lightly air conditioned, seas of long, disorganized clearance racks, clothing thrown about, and very minimal employees working. Rather than feeling like a professional retail store, it gave the appearance of a disheveled Goodwill, but with higher prices. Many of the so-called “clearance” items didn’t even reflect true clearance pricing.
Overall, it was sad and disappointing to see such a lack of care, staffing, and ownership at...
Read moreThis store is so bad that my husband and I have pretty much written it off...this is all Kohl's stores really. A VERY BIG problem for this store is the checkout situation. You literally have to wait in line FOREVER almost any time you go there...if it's around the holidays, forget it...lines wrap around so far you can't see the end! One of the reasons that the checkout process is so long (hence the long lines), is every customer and sales associate is busy attempting to sort through their ridiculous Kohl's cash certificates, discount coupons, while offering every customer to sign up for one of their credit cards. And, by the way, the Kohl's cash is next to useless, if they want to offer a loyalty reward, then don't make it so difficult to use...don't make the things so that you can't use it on the same day, but you must use it within 7 days...they simply shouldn't expire, and they should make an easier process altogether...something that doesn't add to their already infinite...
