Windsor — Local services in Kentwood

I drove an hour after to work to come here. I arrived about 15 minutes before 7PM. On the google page it said 8PM closing but when I got there they let me know they were closing in about 10 minutes. I had to rush around and find some dresses for an important event. I kindly asked the manager if I could try the dresses I found on because I am a bigger, curvier and shorter girl. They were not allowing people to try things on any longer and turns out the dresses I picked were not returnable. I bought a few to see which one I liked best so I could then return the rest due to me not being allowed to try them on. I honestly just felt defeated because neither fit and now I just have these two dresses I cannot return. I have a fancy bridal shower in a day with nothing to wear. I know it seems I could have prepared ahead of time but I work a lot and this was my one day. Bottom line I feel like they could have had some compassion and let me take 5 minutes to try two dresses on. I’m not trying to do a fashion show or show anyone as I went alone. I just need to see how they fit on my body for my own confidence. It also shouldn’t say they close at a later time than they do. I think they have beautiful workers and beautiful clothes I just felt let down by...

We visited the Grand Rapids location today for my daughter. The store was super busy and understaffed, but the 3 women working remained polite the entire 1.5- 2 hours we were there. One of the ladies running the dress room continued to walk through the line to inform customers of the 6 dress limit in the dressing room, and the cashier greeted everyone, informed customers of the return policy or no return policy on special occasion dresses and thanked customers for being patient. The manager did have to close the doors early because the dress racks were practically empty, and that caused some unruly customers outside the doors banging on them and entering after being told the store was closed. Again, the store staff was great, but they need to do better at scheduling appropriately for special occasions such as homecoming and prom as well as possibly set up pop dressing rooms to speed up...

This specific location is an actual joke! We drove an hour and 15 mins to come to this store. The store was busy, and out of nowhere the store worker started the “system was down” and they had to close the store. No one was able to make any purchases; which includes us who had two dresses picked out. We drove all the way back this (Saturday)morning to be at the store when they open at 10am. One employee showed up at 10:19 am and said we would have to give her a minute to open the store. Another employee showed up at 10:37am, the first employee let her in and still didn’t open the store. It is now 10:49am and the store is still not opened. There is at least 20 people here waiting. This is very poor customer service. Change your store hours if you don’t have enough staffing.
