Ice cold meal - and even worse pizzas for later which were CLEARLY burnt and someone did not care and delivered it anyways. People came from all over the country to my son’s wedding. I was mortified and embarrassed at what they were served. We don’t get a do-over. This is once in a lifetime day and they totally blew it. If people were up and walking around, we had to chase their salad / meal down even though we paid for a number of meals. They completely ignored the order the bride and groom asked for people to be served, but I was kind of glad that happened because I got a taste of the cold, nasty meals guests were getting served. The bar was closed down during dinner, but a refill of water was nowhere in sight. Your only hope was that maybe someone didn’t show up and you could drink their water too. When I asked my daughter in law what she would have liked to have had done differently on their special day, she said she was disappointed in the food and that doesn’t bring me joy :(. Yo Chef's catering handled my wedding this past October and they were incredible. Chef and Pam (and everyone I met!) were incredible and the service was just as great as the food (which was amazing) and I could not have picked a better catering company for my big day. I loved my meetings with them probably too much and missed them after the wedding was done. They have cooking classes (for adults and some for kids!) and my husband and I are going to one of them in a couple of weeks so we can hang out again! I cannot recommend them enough! You will NOT regret anything about your choice if you go with them! I almost forgot to add, Pam worked with me to secretly put out a tribute to my mother's "extra set of parents" who had made petit fours for her wedding to my dad years ago and Pam made sure they got put on their own table with the photo of them (they've passed in recent years) as a surprise to my mom to make sure they were honored as well as other grandparents who had passed. Highly recommend YOChef’s. Liz and Yosef were both so kind when we met for our tasting. They made it a wonderful experience, and really helped us know what to expect on our wedding day. We were blown away by the food. Everything was very delicious. I had a ton of questions leading up to our wedding and Liz answered them all quickly. We had a lot of comments about how good the food was, especially the apps and Mac and cheese. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food and quality! The servers were kind and attentive. Our meal was paced very well, which was important to me, as I had attended a previous wedding where dinner was very rushed. If there was something we wanted that wasn’t on the menu, they offered to create it for us. I really wanted an app with pickles and Liz gave me several options with prices.
