I’ve been a loyal Aldi shopper for years—both in-store and through Instacart, even before 2020. Recently, I tried to pick up my order close to closing time, but no one ever came out. There’s no direct number to call the store—just an 800 number, which was no help.
Today (Mother’s Day), my husband went to pick up the order. Staff told him it had already been picked up yesterday, even though the order was clearly still sitting there. It turns out an employee had marked it as “picked up” by mistake. I had to call Instacart for a refund, and then my husband had to repurchase everything in-store.

Read moreI picked up a bag of avocados; long story short they were not only rotten but had freshly born maggots crawling all over them. My father in-law alerted one of the staff members about the issue in which she asked him if he was joking. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to produce. I stood back and watched as the girl pulled several different items from the produce section but not paying any mind to the actual problem. I approached her and pointed out the avacados. She then rolled her eyes at me & proceeded to tell me "Ill get to it later." I love Aldis simply because of how cheap the produce is. But maggots in the produce?! That is completely unacceptable. Read moreHave been waiting to get the pool for this weeks ad. I got to the store 5 minutes before they were to open, had to take time off work to go. I get there and the employee was just putting a note on the door saying all the pool vouchers were given out so they are out of the pools. I asked how people got vouchers and was told the manager decided to give them to people that showed up at 6 am, three hours before they open. I feel like it should be whoever shows up when the store is to open should be first come first serve. How is anyone suppose to know if you go before the store opens you get a voucher?
