I used to come here all the time and loved it. Moved away a couple years ago and thought about it often! I stopped through the other day because I happened to be driving through town and it was a significantly different experience. My order (4 pretzels) took over half an hour to get. Every 5 minutes or so, Jesse would indicate that they were almost ready. I had a screaming baby and husband in the car and was not expecting this. If the orders are going to take that long, customers need to know prior to payment. It is unacceptable to wait half an hour. After investing $20 in pretzels, I didn't want to just walk out. My visit was also incredibly awkward. For whatever reason, Jesse was berating his mom, who was also working behind the counter, and being incredibly rude to her and raising his voice! In a tiny, quiet shop, this was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Handle your arguments another time...also, don't treat people like that in general. They were working on a catering order and seemed to be stressed, but no excuse. I sat there for 30 minutes staring at my phone and trying not to melt from awkwardness while Jesse spoke down to her. Please be aware of putting people in these situations, especially since you all preach love and kindness :( Not cool...will not be back. I was very surprised by this experience since everyone is typically very nice. The mom was very pleasant and nice (and didn't defend herself or ask her son to cool it) but her son just kept on going. Respect your mama, dude. ...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful local gem called Patriot Pretzels, and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and treated with genuine kindness. This is a family-owned business, and it’s clear that their strong Christian values shine through in the way they care for their customers and run their shop.
Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, polite, professional, and accommodating. The service was top-notch, and I truly felt valued the entire time I was there. On top of that, the pretzels were absolutely phenomenal—some of the best I’ve ever had from any pretzel shop, hands down. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.
The prices were completely reasonable, and the combination of an outstanding pretzel and a refreshing beverage made for a perfect treat. But even beyond the food, what stood out the most was the joy of getting to know the family behind the counter. It’s rare to leave a place feeling uplifted just by the people alone, but that’s exactly how I felt.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Patriot Pretzels. You won’t just walk away with a delicious snack—you’ll leave feeling like part...
Read morePatriot Pretzel is wonderful! Today was my first visit. When you walk in it's like you are entering someone's den - comfy, with couches, books and toys. The pretzel toppings are numerous an choosing is difficult and mouthwatering. I decided on 5 salt and 5 everything nuggets which came with a side dipping sauce. I chose cheddar. The young men running the family business today were brothers - Noah and his younger brother (whose name I sadly forget). They were the bright and pleasant and I enjoyed talking to them. Noah told me things I never knew about our country's history. We had such an interesting conversation while he prepared my order fresh! My pretzel nuggets were delicious! I have never had a better soft hot pretzel. Crisp on the outside soft and moist on the inside. I wish I could say which I loved most, but they were both outrageously delicious. I just wish I had bought the cinnamon and almond crunch ones too. I can't wait to go back for those. Patriot Pretzels is the best find in Kernersville. A very...
