We had dinner here with friends for the first time last night.
The food was very good. Actually, It was the best pizza we've had out, without traveling to Ney York City. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, and added banana peppers to it. We were then told that they were out of banana peppers so we switched to bell peppers. Our pizza was still outstanding. It had a very good thin crust, and the sauce had a very unique but delicious flavor. It was topped with the right amount of cheese and other ingredients.
The atmosphere was great. We were regulars to the restaurant that used to be in this space, so we could see the changes that have taken place from then. While it retains that old rustic factory feel, its been updated in all the right ways.
The service was good for the most part. The one glitch was the side side salads we ordered did not make it to our table. I figure that's just part of breaking in a new crew. So, I still rated 4 stars on service. I'm sure that will move to 5 star in the near future.
I could see the parking being a bit iffy on a busy night. A good portion of the parking lot is marked off for residents, but there is plenty of new parking, across the street and a short walk away.
Overall, it was a great dining experience, so we will...
Read moreFirst time eating at this location this past Sunday night with my family of 5. Food was great, came out quick. You could tell the server was new to the job or just lacked skill. She brought our tab and never came back until my toddler was so unsettled I started to walk her and my oldest out, she comes and asks if we want to go drinks, I say “no thank you but the tab is ready”. As we are walking out, my husband and our other daughter still at the table waiting, the server turns the corner saying something along the lines of “does that woman think she’s the boss of me” (clearly talking about what I said). I immediately call my husband as we walk to the car. Takes him 10 more mins before he gets outside and he tells me she finally came to the table and asks if he wants her to clear the plates off, he says “no but I’d like to pay”, she says “oh I thought I already took it”. It took longer for her to swipe our card than it took for us to get our drinks and fried ravioli appetizer, and I definitely don’t appreciate the attitude - I’ve worked in food service in the past and my husband runs 18 retail locations as a district manager, that server left a horrible taste in...
Read moreMy friend and I had lunch here for the first time today. I have to say, we were both really happy with the food, atmosphere and service. The inside has changed a lot from when it was Giada’s. It is bright, clean, funky and nice and open. The bar is much bigger with lots of neon. The music was great and not too loud. Kaycee was attentive and put into the computer that I wanted my fries extra crispy and they were very good! My sandwich, The Love Tractor (read Luuuuve) was excellent and yes, I loved it. The ribeye was shaved, well seasoned with zero gristle or fat. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and weren’t mushy. The caramelized onions were great, lots of melty provolone on a VERY good french roll. I ate every bite. I did not try the au jus. This was only $13.86 including tax and it was worth every penny. My friend ordered the small Trippin Billies pizza. The crust was golden, it had olive oil, baby Bellas, shiitakes, spinach, rosemary, thyme, porcini dust and truffle oil. She said it was excellent. Kaycee even came back to check on us after we paid. We will...
