Breathe Event Lounge & Catering — Restaurant in Kernersville

When I came, there was a birthday party happening in the back and the theme was Forest Gump. There was a DJ at the front and he had different games. His crowd interaction and charisma was great! There was a $5 membership fee that lasts a year, which is quite the win... but I'm not sure I'd give this place another chance based on the two experiences below:

-I have a $10 charge pending on my account for a beer... The beers weren't $10... so, I'm questioning the integrity here.

-While my friend and I were waiting for our drinks to be made, a man walked around us to get to the register and close his tab. The bartender says "oh, he was sitting there, guys." No - that's not how bars work. Plus, there were two empty chairs on either side of us and nothing was holding his seat. I'll do my best to not make this about race because I REALLY want to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not sure it's deserved.

I’ve been there multiple times & have loved the place but tonight I went & I usually leave cash tips as a courtesy because I know taxes don't get taken out of cash. However the bartender decided to say something by saying “I guess we’re not getting any tips tonight” after I hit no tip on the credit card transaction. Guess not tonight then. Not to mention she did not even use the correct liquor I requested which wasn’t that big of a deal but It just still struck me as rude because I’ve always left a cash tip everytime I’ve ever been. Doesn’t mean you get to be rude. Just...

I've been a patron for a time now. There is no better place to grab a friend and relax and socialize. Their food is always delicious. The chips and salsa.....the salsa is so fresh and tasty. The Charcuterie Board is the best. I love the cheeses and meats. And their cocktails are pretty and good. They have flowers in some drinks and grass too! I was woke, hahaha! It's a nice "grown up" lounge. If you don't know what a lounge is, this is a great example located...
