I went in this morning at 10:40 a.m. to order a breakfast sandwich. I was told that they don't do breakfast sandwiches after 10 a.m. on Saturdays and after 10:30 a.m. during the week. I had no problem with that at all and asked if I could see a menu so I could just order something to eat. She said they were switching over from breakfast to lunch. So I asked well what can I get to eat? I was then told that it would be a while before I would be able to get any food. I asked how long and the female manager responded it's going to be at least 30 minutes. The hours are clearly marked on the front door with no pause between breakfast and lunch. This is a diner. I find it really off-putting that there's a period of time where you can't get food. They should at least post that on the door. The staff is very nice and the food is reasonably priced. That doesn't make up for the inability to be able to get food during...
Read moreWhat a delicious place, we were gonna try the breakfast out but we missed the 10:30am cutoff so we tried out their lunch and it did not disappoint. I had their Charlie snow burger on brioche bun and it was honestly one of the best burgers I had in a really long time. By far beats most of the big chain burger places , including some of the other burger joints in Kville. Staff was also super friendly and it has that old diner feeling. Glad to help support local businesses. Also might I add if you are balling on a budget this place is super cheap , I was surprised how reasonable and the food was still tasty. We got 2 sodas both at main entrees with fries and the order came out to 16$ you can even barely go to a fast food restaurant and pay less than that for to main meals. 5/5 stars for Fitz on Main. Also just a note we did notice , they take cash only luckily there was my bank right down the...
Read moreIt's OK but nothing to rave about! I only went here because the locals recommended Fitz on Main. I tried the fried baloney on low quality bread. For the price it should have come with extras. Then I thought maybe it's just me and decided to give the place another try. The chicken and dumplings was Grey with no chicken in it- maybe one errant strand in the whole cup. Then I was charged 2$ for a fake plastic salty 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich which was advertised on the outside billboard as a combo with the chix and dumplings. The cook said it wasn't included. I gave the friendly waitress a good tip, after all she didn't cook it, she just served it and the pleasant conversation made up for the void! There are better places to eat locally for the pricey amount. There is even a glowing YouTube video about this place. WHAT NERVE! DON'T BE FOOLED....
