I'd give this 5 stars, but I can't due to the lack of communication from the ferry line to us before we left and the lack of info we got once we got on the boat. Including the fact that we had to change ferries...but we were told this once we got on the first ferry.
For what it is, it's good. Don't get on the ferry thinking that you're on a cruise ship. The food is all frozen/re-heat stuff. You DO NOT tip the staff as they are all government employee. Many of the folks we met are great and helpful but a few are just punching a clock.
If you're traveling with pets...be warned. You have to leave them in a crate or your car. you can only see them for bathroom breaks every 6hrs and they get to pee and poop on the car deck..NOT cool.
