Mikes Bbq 101 — Restaurant in Florida

Wow, we have been going to see Mike for a few years and his food has only gotten better with time!! He catered our daughter’s first communion and my friend’s 40 th birthday, both times the food was incredible!!! Just picked up some brisket, pulled pork and jalapeño corn bread. The brisket is so tender, moist and on point. The pulled pork is outstanding, we mix the bbq sauce with the Carolina one and it is awesome!! Corn bread... wow!!!! Mike always has a smile on his face and it is truly a pleasure going to see him. Makes me happy when I drive by every day going to pick up my daughter from school and see him busy with customers. We had the pleasure of having our wedding in Key Largo with the food catered by Mike’s BBQ. Out of all the rental companies we utilized throughout our wedding process, these guys were the best AND the food was an absolute hit! Mike was on it from the start, helping make sure the food for our wedding was outstanding. There is not a bad thing on the menu. Out of our 50ish person wedding, not a single person had anything bad to say. Top favorites across the board are the prime ribs, pulled pork, mac n cheese, and of course the cornbread. We had Mike cater our small wedding for 45 people on the beach in Key Largo and couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything turned out! Everyone raved about how delicious the food was (including our photography team, who said it was way better than most high-end vendors for weddings they have done!) We had the beef brisket, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and cole slaw. Mike was a pleasure to work with.
