Upper Crust Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

So I’ve been passing by this place for a long time sticking to the pizza places that I know in the Keylargo area, which is tower Pizza, which is not the greatest, but to me was the best you can find in the keys yesterday I told myself on the way home from work I will stop in to upper crust and see if this pizza is good or not well, let me tell you I was greeted with smiles. The staff made me feel at home. I explained to her the kind of pizza I liked she explained to me how it was made how their ingredients are all fresh and homemade, and the pizza crust is crispy, which is what I like. I ordered a large cheese and half mushroom with no garlic rolls again. Just wanted to try this out I explained to her that my favorite garlic rolls are from tower pizza because they’re little small nuts crispy full of flavor. She explained to me that they have something similar but way better. I said well next time when I bring the wife, we will try them as I wait for my pizza. I ordered a beer. The young lady brings out a couple of garlic knots with their homemade garlic sauce. Let me tell you it blew my mind. The flavors were blowing up in my mouth, best garlic knots on the planet that I’ve ever had the pizza made it home after 45 minute drive reheated the pizza. The pizza was amazing. I've driven by this place a gazillion times and mostly couldn't stop due to work. I've wanted to try it out a long time. Today a friend and I (we live in Miami not key largo) came down to do a consultation and buy supplements at my favorite shop, Remedy's Nutrition. We came down early enough to have breakfast, run some errands, then go to the supplement shop. We were there a long time sorting things out. When we left, we both agreed we were hungry and wanted pizza, so we stopped here. First time but not our last. The pizza tasted so fresh and organic. Not a part of it tasted fake, stale, or inferior. Their menu says extra sauce and extra cheese is already on it, and here it's true. This pizza is some of the best ever had!!! We had dessert, my friend had key lime pie and I had Tiramisu, again everything was so fresh tasting, organic, and delicious. Idk if truly organic but it tasted of that quality and I can usually tell. I went full organic at least 10 years ago and have trouble eating garbage food because it tastes so fake... this wasn't the case at this pizza place.

Only drawback was the noise was of a cafeteria vibe. The people were super nice. The noise could easily be addressed by using booths with tall backs of seats. Or putting some acoustic panels up.

Horrible. Drive right past it. Do not recommend Upper Crust Pizza & will not give them another penny. Our first time there on 7/11/17 & we live in Miami & visit Key Largo often. Figured we'd give them a try. Big mistake. Took 30 min for two slices of pizza that came out looking like they were sitting for 3 days....Hard as a rock & dried up!! Garlic rolls were so small & not fresh either. Prices are high compared to Tower Pizza which is where I went right after because I could not let my son eat that crappy looking food from Upper Crust Pizza. In fact I wouldn't feed it to my dog!! Boy what a difference!! Tower Pizza blows UCP out of the water!! When I let the girl who served me @ Upoer Crust know of my dissatisfaction with the food, she just walked away. They didn't even care!! Sad. We do not recommend Upper Crust Pizza at all & will not be back. I tool pics as proof. Wish I could attach them here. I don't know how someone could own a restaurant and in good conscience serve food like that. It's amazing to me that they are still in business. Well we learned our lesson. Oh!
