Little Red Mailbox — Local services in Kill Devil Hills

The beach access has been remodeled along with the Cabana for wheelchair access which is wonderful for people that have disabilities and have trouble getting up and down stairways I just wish that they would have finish the ramp next to the stairs that leads down on to the beach that would have been lovely because you have to go down those stairs to get to the beach. I also enjoy the Cabana I'm sad that they took away the benches that went around it sometimes I, people just like to come sit under the Cabana and look out and enjoy the scenery along with writing in the book about their vacation or there hopes and dreams the future to come whether it be for themselves or someone else then you put it in back in the big red mailbox some people from different countries ring postcards and we'll put a postcard in there to show where they came and a little hint of who they are up, with this I think it was wonderfu. Nice looking beach but in middle of summer with the highest record temperatures outside, the ocean water was freezing cold! It was colder than the bottles of water in my cooler.
