This place shouldnt be able to use the name Dairy Queen. I have been very disappointed with this one. First this was the first year we were here for my daughters birthday and she was excited for her birthday treat from Dairy Queen. Got the coupon ready to use and they said they don’t honor it cause they are privately owned. Didn’t matter that the coupon was from Dairy Queen. This one doesn’t honor their customers or diary Queen perks.
Dairy Queen is one of our dogs favorite places to ride along to cause the employees always loved giving our pups and even cat a little pup cup of ice cream. Well not here. “Sorry we don’t do pup cups. We are privately owned”. So I had to buy a small plain ice cream for $5.00. Well apparently this owner doesn’t care about the little things that make their customers feel appreciated. Guess that is less money in their pockets. Very very disappointed and would love to hear from the private owner so they can explain why they don’t care about their customers like the other...
Read moreWe ordered a "Dr Pepper float" but were served a Dr Pepper-no biggie but when we asked to get a scoop of ice cream on it, we had to pay again to get a single scoop put on, because as they said we had ordered "just" a Dr Pepper. No we didn't. Then when my other kid's order for a vanilla dish with chocolate sprinkles that we ordered came out with no sprinkles, they said they didn't have sprinkles and wouldn't refund for the sprinkles or get us a different order-and if you want to get technical- if they're going to charge us for sprinkles they need to tell us at the time we ordered the sprinkles that they didn't have them. This is petty stuff, but when we get nickel and dimed for their lack of understanding of a basic ice cream order, and then also fail to refund an order that we did correctly but they didn't, not OK. We recommend you go to "Cups and Cones" and the "Island Snow Ball Company" for good ice cream and...
Read moreThe slush machine has been broken for months. Is the DQ management incompetent to not either call service out or get a new slush machine? I know no one has to work under the biden regime of "free" handouts (paid for by the working class) but either order a new one or get a service repair person out (or, under the biden regime is no steel available to buy a new machine)? ALSO, I ordered the tiniest size cup of milk (4 ounce size). The DQ said it would be $3.50. I explained I could buy almost a whole gallon for that price (well, not anymore, but over a half gallon). Suggest the DQ who has kids' meals and kids' food try selling small cartons of milk - better for kids than having to order a sugar-filled, caffeine-laden unhealthy soft drink with their meal. And, try selling it for a reasonable price. McDonald's sells small...
