This charter was incredible. Mark is a great fishing guide and partner. After 10 minutes, it felt like we had been fishing buddies for years. Even though it was our first time casting, he taught us everything we needed to know in only a few minutes. He’d watch us, then givelittle pointers to make sure we’d each catch fish. And sure enough, we all caught a few Speckled Trout! He knew the right spots, the right bait, and the right coaching tips -- couldn’t have done it without him.

The boat is beautiful and we had a great time sitting up front -- going fast in choppy water with lots of ocean spray at the front of the boat (the back of the boat rode very smoothly if that’s more to your liking). The radio blasting (it’s called Rock On for a reason!) really took the experience to the next level.

The best part of all was how considerate he was to the little things. Early in our trip, we had asked Mark about dolphin sightings. Hours later when we were nearly back to the dock, Mark noticed a dolphin sighting charter boat and slowed down to move closer to it. Sure enough, there were dolphins! And not just one or two, but multiple families of dolphins. Mark brought the boat close (but not too close) to the dolphins for a really amazing ending to the perfect fishing charter.

My son (9 yrs) and I had a great time with Rock On! I was sold from his advertisement of being kid friendly and making sure they have a good time. Weather turned out near perfect and we got on a bunch of fish first thing in the morning. We weren’t after the biggest fish, but rather the best experience. Capt. Marc definitely provided! He’s got great equipment, good know how, and good people skills, especially with the kids. One thing that stood out to me is he brought the right gear for the fish. We weren’t planning to slay the big boys so we didn’t have massive rods and reels. We had light tackle that made it fun. That made it so much more enjoyable. He’s got the big stuff too if that’s what you’re after, so don’t worry. At first my son wasn’t quite sure what all to do, but by the end with the help of Marc, he was the pro and out fished us with the most and the biggest! Don’t look any further if you want to take your kids. Even without kids, I have no doubt Rock On is the top of the line. His equipment, know how, and great attitude will ensure you have a fun and successful...

I am overwhelming impressed and thankful for the character and kindness of Captain Marc! My boat blew the motor about a mile from the boat launch and we were stuck floating in the sound with my young son. Multiple boats came by but they told us they couldn’t help because they were on a charter. Captain Marc stopped by and immediately offered to give us a tow back to the boat launch even though he had a charter on board. Marc refused to take any money even after I offered multiple times. This is the kind of person I want captaining my charter. Anybody that takes that good of care to complete strangers I guarantee offers excellent service to paying customers.
